Arrived late at short notice. Had an urgent meeting next day and required Internet access to prepare. Got settled in room, only to find that WiFi wasn't working. No Web access. Did some work offline. When finished, turned on TV but sound didn't work. Oh well, went to sleep. Got up next morning and went for breakfast. There wasn't one because the kitchen was closed, despite my having pre-paid for it. All thar was available was a cold buffet mainly consisting of bread products which I cannot eat for dietary reasons. Ended up with a coffee and a small pot of yogurt. Really good value for £12 - not. When I complained to the person in the dining room, I was met with an indifferent shrug and told "I could speak to the manager if I wanted to". On returning to reception, there was no one available to discuss the matter with and I was short on time, so I just left. Terrible. I particularly object to the way that Premier Inn were happy to take pre-payment for the breakfast but then couldn't care less about actually providing it. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
