Certainly not a Boutique Hotel. Very poor quality service...24 hours with a broken tap, thus unable to use the sink. No fridge as listed. The only view from the rom was the interior courtyard with the 15 or so air conditioning unites, noisy throughout the night. When I mentioned this to the staff, the answer from the owner was that "you only came to create problems". Note that that there isn't a proper reception: this is a small corner unit at the bottom of the stairs, near the entrance to the restaurant.

The hotel was perfectly situated. However the window in our hotel didnt open and despite complaining every day to reception it was not fixed. The bathroom smelt of drains. So our room was stuffy, smelly and hot. Also the hotel were supposed to tell us that the taxi was €20 when it only cost €10 gniceoing

We spent 3 nights at the Aqua Ria Boutique hotel. We had a good time. The room was exactly as described. It was a pleasant large room with a small balcony. The shower was very special with a blue light. All was very clean, the beds were good. We appreciated the breakfast with strawberries, ananas and kiwi. The location is perfect. Just one problem, we arrived by car and it was not easy to find the hotel because we didn't know it was in a pedestrian zone.

The hotel was ok, well situated but on a narrow street and we did not know where to park. The girls at the front desk were nice but did not give more service.they were often absent from the reception area so we had to ring the bell. We went to Villamoura beach. It was beautiful but of course the sea was cold, very cold. There were a lot of small insects and when we left in the afternoon, our white towels were black full of bugs. Bring dark beach towels. We stayed 1 night. Not much to do there. We found that throughout our road trip from Barcelona to Lisbon, Faro was the one city where a lot of people (workers) were quite nasty. Thank god, not all of them were. Would not go back.

When booking I was in awe at how it looked like. It quickly faded once entering the room. starting with the air conditioning system, there is mold growing inside of it. Putting it on while standing close to it caused to overwhelm you with the smell of.. yeah mold. Furnitures / walls are broken or filthy, the bed is crap; you feel all the metallic resorts and to finish it off, you hear a lot of noice from outside. Not at all what I expect from a hotel with 4 stars.

A party of 3 golfers, we arrived after midnight and the young lady on reception was very polite and welcoming. It became apparent however that the sleeping arrangements were not as per the booking. This was resolved immediately by the Manager in a very professional manner and our stay was most enjoyable. The rooms were clean spacious and cooled by the a/c. We enjoyed a lovely early morning breakfast outdoors. I’d certainly revisit this hotel the next time that I’m in the area.

This hotel could be good. Had to move from room 302 to 103, which was only marginally better. There are no signs of management here, the rooms are very poorly (botched) maintained, the reception staff hardly speak any English. All air con systems must have mold removed IMMEDIATELY!!! Faro itself is BORING. Nothing to do other than a boat trip. In a state of complete dilapidation on the edges. We had to spend more money for a few days stay in Lisbon. Owner could easily get this up to standard. EasyJet should stop flying here. Gives the impression it’s fit for tourists but it’s not.

Untidy and unwelcoming room. Our room, 103, had curtains that wouldn't close, malfunctioning and dirty air conditioner unit, no soap and shower gel in the bathroom, poor lighting, dirty boiler. Hotel needs urgent upgrade.

After being 40min waiting at the terrace for the food, went inside to ask and the blond woman and the Colombian guy were VAPING and chatting. When I asked for our food, they said there is more people ( witch everyone was sitting and eating once we arrived) so We needed to wait instead of letting us know. SUPER RUDE, I asked for the bill to Pay the drinks and go and she shouted like an insane person that no needed to pay for them, basically kicking us out. UNBELIEVABLE RUDE SITUATION. They don’t deserve people going there. Periodt
