Masseria San Martino

This is the perfect location and base for exploring amazing Puglia. All rooms adequately furnished and extremely clean. Beautiful swimming pool and very good breakfast all provided by wonderful Concetta and team. Can’t wait to go back again.

Masseria San Martino was a wonderful place to stay for peace, quiet and tranquillity. It has extensive grounds in the olive groves. We were very well looked after by Conchetta and Teresa - with Conchetta providing us with a wonderful breakfast every morning. Our room was immaculately clean and we slept very well each night on the comfortable bed. It was room 9 up the stairs and you had a great view across the olive groves to the sea. The Masseria was well placed for exploring the towns of the Itrian valley or the coast. A car is advised though to get around. We couldn't have asked for more.

Arrived on our bikes from Alberobella.Warm welcome . Rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Lovely patio area. The surrounding grounds full of olive groves and stone walls . Drinks available to enjoy on patio. Taxi service to local restaurants.

Maybe a 40 minute drive from Brindisi airport, the Masseria San Martino is a comfortable and tranquil place to stay. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable and there is space to sit outside with food or a drink. The swimming pool is clean and was quiet most of the time we used it. A car is essential; there are no restaurants within walking distance, but this is compensated for by the fact that it is a good location for visiting the wider area for which a car would be a requirement anyway.

The Masseria if family owned and you feel it, warm, friendly, well appointed and very, very interesting history. It is wonderfully close to interesting small towns, the east coast (beaches) of Italy, and the incredibly interesting UNESCO world heritage site of Alberobello, among others. Look it up yourself very interesting. You could easily spend four to five nights here using this as a base, we spent four and wish we had five. The rooms were spotless, artfully designed, lots of choices, you can cook in some or all rooms. My wife and I have traveled to many countries and this Masseria is now one of our top 5 places in the world to visit. Not only because of the location, close to many things, lot's of great food, and beaches...but we are in love with the family/owners...and their two cats romaing the property. The Masseria is a working olive farm producing their own great olive oil from trees as old as 1,000 years old, the trees are like nothing we have ever seen before regarding age and production. The family provides an incredible breakfast every morning, better than anything we have experienced in 4-5 star hotels. Did we mention you can buy their olive oil? We had about 3 gallons (literally) shipped back to California. The entire estate feels very safe, very quite, kids have areas to play, great swimming pool onsite. Did I mention the family is awesome! I'd like them to adopt me (might be to old at 65) so I could enjoy the beauty year around.

If you love beautiful surroundings, comfortable beds with lovely linens and a fabulous breakfast with lots of options then you must stay here. Our adult family stayed for a week and none of us wanted to leave. Our hosts made sure that we had everything we needed and more. Convenient Location for traveling to Alberobello, Fasano and Melendugno. Many fabulous restaurants in the local area were recommended by Concetta and Theresa. Highly recommend this beautiful resort.

We have been at this beautiful place at the end of may 2022 for one week. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed every minute at this masseria. We must say it was fine and neccassary to have a car in this week to explore the beautiful surroundings. We stayed in the comfort suite with patio. It was very pleasant to have a terrace of our own. The suite is well equiped and has a lot of comfort. The shower was lovely wich is pleasant at the end of a warm day 😁. Happily the suite felt cool. The only thing we can mention is that the matress is a little bit too firm (for us) and that perhaps it's convenient to have a little wardrobe for the clothes. The location is stunning with all the olivetrees and beautiful flowers. The swimmingpool was lovely every day and clean! We had a nice contact with Concetta and Teresa. The communication was great. It was pleasant that we could talk English to each other. I'm now busy making a beautiful photoalbum and look back to a wonderful holiday in Puglia at Masseria San Martino. We had a fantastic stay in Puglia at the end of July! We stayed at the Masseria San Martino where we were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed many of the comforts the Masseria had to offer. The pool was fantastic and our boys loved every minute of it. A massage under the olive trees was the perfect way to relax. We even asked for a photographer so we could get family photos to remember our time at the Masseria. The Baldassare family made us feel like family and we are forever grateful for their hospitality in our amazing Apulian experience! Definitely recommend and will definitely return!

This family owned Masseria (farm) welcomed us and made us feel part of their family for our one week stay. Perfect place as “home base” for day trips to the Adriatic Sea to experience beautiful beaches (Polignano a Mare and Monopoli were favorites just 15 min away) or explore the enchanting nearby towns of Cisternino, Martina Franca, Ostumi, and the trulli town of Alberobello. Nothing better than returning from a day of touring to relax by the pool, enjoy a drink from the honor bar, and share stories with fellow travellers. Concetta and her daughter, Teresa, work hard to give travellers a world class experience by answering questions, teaching a few Italian words and patiently offering pronunciation assistance (I was pathetic), offering cooking classes, hiring bike or boat tours, making local dinner reservations - Mama Mia!! They do it all with big hearts, big smiles and with perfect English, having both lived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Daily breakfast included with a large variety of home baked goods. The rooms are recently redecorated and VERY comfortable, usually with your own terrace and often with a kitchenette. Highly recommend as a base to explore Puglia!
