FIRST class restaurant 5 star food second time, went in the summer had the Sunday roast 5 star +. Returned Saturday night starters mains and sweets 5 star +++++++ my son's birthday meal THE VERY VERY BEST. Staff so good compassionate about the food and the service

We struggled to find anywhere local to Wisbech at short notice, and luckily got the last room at the slightly quirky Oliver Twist. It is just off the main road so not somewhere one would find just driving thru. It was clean, with a comfy bed and nice en-suite with great shower. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough. Dinner was good ( although very limited wine choice) and the full English brekky excellent. We would definately return if in the area, much nicer than any Premier Inn because of the staff and food.

Okay, first the positive…. All the staff very, very friendly, food excellent: home made, good quality and good portions. Room for the night very pleasant, shower very good, bed comfortable. Just three comments: You need some blinds in the windows, curtains let too much light in. WiFi coverage is frankly awful in this day and age. Lastly, my room had an abundance of small fruit flies during my stay (quite a few in the bar for breakfast too). Fix these points to get 5 stars 👍 Saying that, I will gladly return if I’m in the area again.

Always great food and a friendly service. Well worth a trip out the food is always delicious. We have been going for years for date nights, family meals and birthdays and have never been disappointed. Always great portions I have to have a dessert take away.

As regular diners at this establishment, we can vouch for the level of service you get from the first step through the door to the final goodbye and thank you. Food is excellent and there is a decent variety to cater for different tastes. The friendliness of the staff is second to none, and I can thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting this area.

We dine at the Oliver Twist Guyhirn on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and staff are wonderful. This is definitely a place to visit for family occasion or a pleasant evening with partner. I would highly recommend it.

Wife & I had a lovely dinner here on Christmas Day. Food was great (home cooked roast without the cooking and washing up). Service was excellent from warm friendly staff. We use the restaurant quite often and have always been happy with the food & service.

Lovely friendly establishment, I've stayed many times over the years and have always been well looked after and remembered even when I only stay once or twice a yr. The rooms are spacious, warm and have all the nice touches, although not many and get booked up quickly. Food menu has plenty of options, well cooked with decent portions.

Always a warm welcome and good food available. The real ale is well kept and there is a good range of keg beers for those that prefer them. The fish and chips are first rate and the steaks are always cooked as requested.
