Great staff, great location, great facilities. Will be staying again.

Upgrade upon arrival. Asked for a quiet room and given a quiet room. Very modern, clean rooms. Pool area lovely. Gym very good, lots of equipment. Booked a further 2 nights and given the upgrade again to stay in the same room as the hotel was quiet. This is what I would expect however, it doesn’t often happen so pleased it did.

Thankfully I'm not staying at this hotel if the service is as bad as in their main restaurant. Staff were non-attentive, totally disorganised, hardly any English spoken, clearing plates before everyone had finished their meal, no offer of a sweet menu or coffee. Food was delayed/left on the counter before serving, resulting in some of it being cool. The bill had to be requested several times then just placed straight onto the table. Presentation definitely needs attention. Needless to say, I will not be returning anytime soon!

What a fantastic place to stay. Just perfect. We were there for a wedding which was organised by the Hotel staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went above and beyond to make everything just so. The rooms were spotlessly clean with comfy beds and fab bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious with a choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and cooked breakfast. The hotel is quite new but when word gets out just how lovely it is it won’t be long before it will be hard to get a booking.

I would use one word to describe this hotel -Paradise. We came as guests and the staff treated us so well, we left as friends. We had our wedding at the Bricia Du Mar and it was prefect. The location for a wedding is what we dreamed of. The hotel is low rise and like a little village with beautiful rooms and a stunning pool area. There is a fantastic gym and spa also. What Raquel, Pedro and everyone else did to help us was above and beyond what you would expect from a hotel. They say they are not wedding planners but what they did to help us arrange our wedding was incredible. This a family run hotel and you can see the care and attention they have to make the hotel a success as it is quite new. Everything is spotlessly clean and such a calming wonderful environment. Our wedding went without a hitch and the attention to detail was incredible. All the staff at our wedding were genuinely happy to be there from the chefs to the bar staff and waiters who couldn’t do enough for us. Perfect!! Having stayed many times in beautiful Ferragudo we thought we would give this place a go as we’ve watched it develop over recent years although we were slightly sceptical as have experienced problems with hotels that are newly opened.No need to worry as everything was organised to a tee and the team of staff couldn’t do enough for you.We had a double bedroom that had everything we needed and a view over to Ferragudo valley from a lovely outdoor terrace that entered onto the poolside.Very bright and clean and possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced (That includes many 5 star hotels) The pool is large with great views again and surrounded by many comfortable loungers and although wasn’t open yet there is a gorgeous poolside bar and restaurant.Underground parking for all guests and I managed to take a peak at the soon to be opened gym which as a gym owner I was impressed at the amount and choice of equipment that you don’t normally get in hotel gyms. I’ve saved the best until last! The restaurant and staff were unbelievable.We were expecting just continental breakfast but no there was everything on offer.Cereals,fruit,cheeses,meats,fresh breads,homemade cakes and a full English where they will cook eggs or anything you ask for to your liking.We didn’t try dinner as we’d already booked places in the village and at clubnau but the menu looked very inviting and extremely well priced. Last but not least it was my birthday whilst staying there and not only did all the team wish me happy birthday individually we also returned to our room to find 2 pieces of chocolate cake,a bottle of cava and a hand written birthday card. We will definitely be returning soon and although we are buying our own place in the village we will also be sending our visiting friends here and calling in for meals and drinks on the soon to be opened roof terrace. ❤️❤️❤️

Me and my family had a really great time, everything is brand new, the food in the Restaurant was superb! Special thanks to Chef Adriano who came to our table twice and explained and demonstrated his passion over food, great service also. Will return!

We were very lucky to stay in the Hotel Rural Bricia Du Mar for the first 3 nights of the hotels opening. Whilst they were operating on a 'soft' opening basis we couldn't fault any of the services and facilities available. The reception staff were so friendly and made us feel special from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our studio/suite which was so beautiful and modern. The kitchenette was equipped with everything required to make drinks and small snacks. The large bed was so comfortable. The air con unit was used by us for warmth and it was very effective and easy to operate. There was a surprising amount of storage space in the wardrobes for clothing/luggage. The colour TV kept us entertained on one rainy evening. We found that the Wi-Fi signal was very good. The size of the bathroom was bigger than most places we've stayed and it included a massive step in shower. Although the swimming pool looked really inviting it was wasn't hot enough to use during our stay. Maybe next time! The surrounding gardens are lovely. The restaurant didn't open until our 2nd morning so we were served, our first breakfast, on the terrace outside our room which was a real bonus. There was still a small amount of work going on around the property but at no time did it detract from our enjoyment. All in all our stay was a memorable experience. Good luck to the owner, manager and all of the staff at the hotel. We are sure that it won't take long to become a firm favourite for many other visitors to Ferragudo. We'll be back very soon.

Beautiful place to stay. But, summer would be better. Stay in winter is quite average, since pool is outdoor and non-functional. Breakfast has bare minimum choices. Otherwise, good housekeeping and well maintained place with covered parking in basement. Gym and spa supposed to be good although couldn’t use much since Spa was not available. One has to pre-book Spa before their stay. Place is not far from beach, but not right beside either. Also, beaches in Ferragudo are less popular. So, anyway one needs to drive around.
