I'm very impressed with the Guesthouse and am going back from the 22nd of Jan 2024. The service was excellent and I was treated with utmost respect and friendliness.enjoyedvthe quiet and clean rooms and when I asked for another room the last night it was given without hesitation!

Valerie and Johan were amazing hosts. Super friendly and helpful. The establishment is perfectly situated to walk to town or parkrun if one wants to. We enjoyed our walkabouts both in the town and by the dam and on the Imperani hill. They helped with information about Lesotho and border crossings, of which our border crossing was a breeze, as they said it would be. Having solar power was brilliant, especially when one needs that cup of coffee. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Gewel Guesthouse. We absolutely loved the house and the room layout. The location of the Guesthouse was in a perfect area close to anything and everything. We are grateful for the Hostess for being very lenient due to the circumstances we where in.

Beautiful guesthouse in Ficksburg. There weren't many options in this town. This guesthouse ticked the list for an overnight stay. Host was warm and welcoming . Microwave and bar fridge in the room was helpful. Everything was neat clean and pretty.

New mattress is a must for the Queen bed. Toilet needs fixing once flushed it continues flushing. The shower door needs repairing it comes off the runners. Shower drain needs to be unclogged.
Eunice was a wonderful hostess.
