We stayed at the Amilla from March 5th to 12th for our honeymoon and it was an extraordinary stay! We have chosen this resort because it offers accommodation to a limited number of people, guaranteeing tranquility, privacy and a tailor-made service for each guest. Additionally, the resort places a strong emphasis on eco-sustainability and there is a visible commitment to trying to exploit the natural resources the island has to offer. We stayed in a sunset overwater villa, which is very spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort. We preferred it to the reef overwater-villa because of the sea, which is calmer with shallow water, and the spectacle of the sunset every night. The cleaning is impeccable, it was done at least 2 times a day and in an absolutely discreet way. Also appreciated are the bath products that are created on the island with natural ingredients and characterized by a very good scent that can also be felt throughout the island. As a demonstration of the care and attention for the guest, every evening a small culinary cadeau was left in the room and it made us feel very pampered. Each villa is also equipped with bicycles that make it easy to explore the island and move between the various restaurants and points of interest. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of cuisine offered by the island, all of which are of high quality. Honorable mention goes to the breakfast buffet that can satisfy all needs and appetites. If the buffet is not enough, you can also order poke bowl and all kinds of eggs from the island's cluckingham palace from the à la carte menu. All four restaurants have excellent quality food, most notably the Japanese restaurant "Feeling Koi", which has also received some awards in the past. We really liked the island because, despite being small, it has lush vegetation and its own reef, where you can see many fish, turtles, sharks, simply by snorkeling near the villas. As if the spectacle of nature was not enough, the resort organizes a full program of activities, different every day, to allow the exploration of the island and its surroundings (we recommend the "Dolphin discovery" excursion and of course the divings), as well as activities and evening shows for relaxation and socialization. Each villa is assigned a "katheeb", a staff person, who is always ready to clarify any doubt and book activities, excursions and meals to leave you free from any thoughts. We left the staff review for last, as we want to thank everyone for their kindness and professionalism. Sorry we don't remember all the names, but we can sure mention a few people who impressed us: - Karina, our katheeb, for her patience in organizing the activities of our busy week; - Alex, for the humility, the friendliness, the smile and all the fruit that brought us for breakfast :D; - Sagi Pita (Joe's pizza) for the pleasant chats at the counter and Nutella pizzas; - Winx (our guide to snorkeling excursions) for the adventurous s
