There were a lot of positives with this B&B but also some negatives. We arrived at 7 PM and were told we only had one room reserved when we had clearly reserved two rooms since July. I had spoke on the phone with both hosts several times about the reservation. We were blamed for the mistake and told there was no other lodging available except possibly one room in St. Albans for $600/night. They had given away our 2nd room an hour before we arrived. Jacquie was gracious and set up the day bed in the suite for us. Not ideal but OK. Luckily we were able to get the 2nd room for the 2nd night. On the positive side, the rooms were very comfortable. Good linens and very clean. I had the blue room the 2nd night and it was quite charming. The shared space was comfortable and we had a group breakfast with the other guests which was pleasant. On the negative side, there was ABSOLUTELY ZERO internet connection, even standing adjacent to the router. I understand that internet is spotty in the more rurual areas of VT, but I thought we'd get at least a weakish signal standing near the router. Also, more concerning is you could not call out on your cell phone. If you need or want to keep in touch at all, this could be problematic. Also, my travel companion was charged twice. The issue was resolved. So, I suggest you double check your reservation, have zero expectations about connectivity, and check your credit card balance. That being said, I wouldn't say don't go there. It has its charms.
