This hotel is the best and most spacious Ibis hotel I’ve been to. The decor is stylish and chic with well thought out amenities. Nice big room with comfortable beds and views. Breakfast buffet was simple but nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. My family and I are extremely happy with this hotel, I wish I’ve booked here for more than two nights.

We have chosen this beautiful place for our marriage unfortunately the politeness and gentleness of some of the local managers are far from the minimum syndical you could hope for this kind of place... the evening of the marriage I hear me say By the owner that there is a seminar and that I therefore have no noise and not to enclosure the passage and that it is a privilege to let me decorate the room that I've hired over €3000 and that I've chosen it well so it is at its conditions ! My guests and my service providers have literally been attacked and threatened to be fucked at the door by madame. The commitments made by the owners have not been respected and even the evening we meet with our naked singer changing out of her room without even having the opportunity to get her scene costumes... Although we are We had a calm discussion the next morning, but I can unfortunately only give a negative opinion on this beautiful place. I can only advise you to find another place for your marriage if you want to avoid this kind of extra stress...

The first thing to say is - I'm not usually a Youth Hostel person so I'll give the Auberge de Jeunesse lots of credit here. Met by friendly receptionist who was helpful in telling me all the important information including the shuttle bus back to Charleroi Airport. The room I got was a ”Basic Single Room” - which was just a 2 bed dorm with Single occupancy. It did exactly what it said on the tin - it had a bed, toilet, shower, sink, plugs and table/chairs - just what was needed for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable despite having to do the pillowcase/bed sheets/duvet cover myself, but I guess that's a hostel thing! The one downside to my stay was the amount of noise from outside my room - which I believe was next to a shared area. Constant banging, whistling and cheering until about 12.30am led to not much sleep being had until then - luckily my flight home was in the afternoon, it would be awful if you had an early connection! Breakfast was offered and was a good continental offering, some hot food would have been nice but the breakfast I had was more than acceptable. For a grand total of €37 including breakfast, this place is extremely good value for money, but expect noise before you go to sleep! I would return if I was coming back to Charleroi.

Last minute booking on a wandering trip with no agenda. Namur was not on the list of places to visit and it was by chance that we found the chateau on *********** as it was kind of on the way to our next destination. We arrived late to a warm welcome from reception and a room upgrade. The chateau is in a wonderful location perched on the top of a cliff top citadel that tracks its history back 2000 years and is surrounded by lovely gardens and woods. The room was spacious and first class, as was the service and splendid breakfast. Parking is free at the hotel and we took full advantage in the morning to catch the cable car from the summit of the citadel (a five minute walk to the cable car) to the centre of the old Namur town (6 euro return for seniors) a great experience to cap off a lovely stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Belgium and were very happy with our choice. The service was very friendly and we loved the breakfast each morning, which was included with our room rate and had many warm and cold options. Parking was free for our rental car. The main downside is that there isn't a lot around, so it is much more convenient if you have a car. But with one, we enjoyed the quick access to Waterloo and to downtown Nivelles. We would definitely stay here again.

I was looking for a Hotel close to the station, and i decided to give the B&B chain ago as i had not used them before. The Hotel is about 3 minutes walk from Namur station, caution they are undertaking alot of road works so the path is a little uneven. I was welcomed when i walked into the Hotel and checkin was very easy. The hotel use a code method for room access which is more environmental friendly than the plastic cards. The Hotel is very new and the interior is perfect and very clean, my room was on the 1st floor and the room was quiet and had a nice big shower. My sleep was perfect on the 2 evenings i stayed, Breakfast is very good with a hot and cold option and they have tea / coffee is always available. As a bonus if you dont need room service if you are staying for more than 1 day you get a free €5 voucher to use at the bar. I enjoyed my stay and i would certainly use again for future stays.
