Palazzo Tolomei is a part of the history of Florence. Its hostess, the remarkable Daniela is the living proof of a glorious Florence, full of art, culture, generosity and prosperity. Our visit to the Palazzo was a flashback to the renaissance (the walls and ceilings are covered with unparalleled paintings and fresco) and it was exquisite. The rooms are palace quarters (by definition) clean and perfect. The breakfast is a daily surprise, plenty, pure and traditional, served where the original owners used to have it. The owner complements the stunning experience with classical music in all the common areas. Our Florence will always be inextricably linked with Palazzo Tolomei! Magical place , incredible breakfast, staff outstanding , the palace is stunning! Location is amazing beautiful romantic trendy city! This Palace make you feel very special and welcome! Daniella the owner and her crew are fantastic. If you look for a break this is the place to go! We were there for 4 days with friends, and now we have a lovely memories ❤️

We had a recommendation for this boutique hotel. Danielle and staff were so welcoming. They checked on us when we were late arriving. Booked reservations for us. The breakfasts were amazing. Such history to each course. Rooms were amazing and huge. Great location too for all attractions. This is a must for the real Florence experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo Tolomei for three nights at the end of September 2023. It was a truly exceptional experience. Signora Agnelli - Daniela, and her staff are the most warm and welcoming hosts I’ve ever met. They made restaurant reservations for us as a matter of course. And when getting a taxi proved impossible, Daniela offered to have one of her staff walk us and our bags to the car rental! The Palazzo is gorgeous. It is in a great location, walking distance to everything and has an elevator. Our room was huge, frescoes on the ceiling, seating area with sofa and easy chairs, a welcoming bottle of sparkling wine, biscotti and candy. Very comfortable bed, great A/C. Great rain shower in a roomy bathroom. Breakfast is amazing. Do not miss it! Juice, made to order coffee, yogurt, granola, croissants, various rolls, focaccia, cheese and salamis, hot freshly prepared eggs, special Florentino cakes and pastries!! While the number of “courses” is constant, the items and dishes change every day. As I said before, do not miss it! We had an amazing stay and would whole heartedly recommend it.

A truly exceptional, once in a lifetime experience! Step back in time and enjoy the grandeur of this incredible Palazzo, sleeping under frescoes from the 16th century. Daniella the owner and her staff make you feel like family, warmly welcoming you and helping you plan everything from dinners to drivers to in-room massages. The location is central to everything - steps from all of the cities top attractions. And the BREAKFAST- truly an experience. This was the best breakfast of my life! The flavors and the variety were bar none - sweet and salty and included in your room package. Overall, I could not recommend more highly. This was a splurge for us and glad it was one that we chose to make!

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious, with beautiful decor including paintings on the ceiling. The location is very convenient, right in center of the tourist attractions but still away from the chaos of tourists. The breakfast! What an experience! Daniela was amazing in making sure we had the best breakfast experience ever! She even packed us a breakfast bag for the check out day since we had an early morning train. I would definitely recommend staying here. This place is a hidden gem in Florence!

From the moment we got here the owner of the hotel has been fantastic and very lovely to deal with. When we were shown our room for the next 6 days, our jaws dropped to the ground in disbelief that we scored the ultimate accommodation in Florence. Our bedroom is absolutely massive and you also have a dinning room just as big aswell. The ceiling artwork will blow your mind away. Breakfast is included and you won't be leaving on an empty stomach that's for sure every morning. When your sitting in the rooms you feel like your back in the 18th century and just oozes with history. It starts to make you wonder who and what people roamed the hallways over the years. It's really such a amazing place to stay and is 50 times better then the any 5 star modern hotel cause you don't come to Florence not to witness the pure history of the place. If we ever come back again this will definitely be our hotel of choice and will recommend to all our friends. The room we had is detailed below as the Gold suite. This marvelous and prestigious Suite (140 sqm) takes it name from the exquisite 1700's salon, the Gold Salon, perfectly conserved and decorated in gold and yellow, enriched with frescoes, stuccoes, wall paper, pink marble, fireplaces, porcelain, crystals and mirrors. It is not easy to describe the sensation which envelopes the guest as soon as she/he walks through the door of this almost magical place; the most intimate area of the "piano nobile" of the Palazzo, that special place dedicated to luxury and pleasure. The spacious and rich bedroom testifies to this vocation: all of the senses are involved with the white of the linens, the gold of the mirrors, and the splendid frescoes. Moments of pure relaxation are ensured by the double jacuzzi, a modern and appreciated touch in such antique surroundings. Another surprise which awaits the guests is the "Cariatidi Alcove" a private and intimate space in Venetian style with its large bed and draperies in red and gold velvet. Very welcome are the modern comforts: air conditioning, satellite television, DVD player, safe box, mini bar, plush dressing robes, courtesy soaps personalized with the magic ingredient of Tuscan Olive Oil, wonderful on the skin and with a very fresh profume. Porcelain and crystal trays complete the guest table who will always find wine and sweet surprises upon arrival. For coffee lovers, the Nespresso machine is in the room with a selection of delicious types of coffee.

Are you looking for a romantic escape in the center of Firenze? This Pallazio is simply a gem! The location is amazing (5 min by foot to the Duomo). When you enter the place, you feel like a queen and a king. The decor is authentic and beautiful frescoes are ornating the ceiling of the room. The furniture and the decoration are tasty and historical for most of them. The big plus is the super warm welcoming by the owner of the place : Daniella ! She is an Amazing person full of energy and offering perfect breakfasts. We enjoyed different types of florentine food. All is tasty, classy with Vivaldi music. We enjoyed every moment and our discussion with Daniella who also booked some typical trattoria for us at night. This place is highly recommended for honeymooners or couples like us who wanted to spend a few nights on Firenze.
