Hotel Palazzo Benci is truly the perfect place to stay when visiting Florence. Not only is it conveniently located close to the main train station (which is essential when it comes to traveling to and from the city) as well as must-visit locations like the Duomo, Galleria dell’Accademia, and the Central Market, it's also just an incredibly friendly place. The staff are super friendly and helped us with absolutely everything we needed. They were in contact with us before our stay even started to make sure that everything went smoothly and were always willing to answer any and all questions that we might've had. And the rooms? They're just as advertised. They're comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. All of the work of the recent renovations was totally worth it. The only thing travelers need to be aware of is that the walls are paper thin; it's easy to hear someone's phone go off from rooms away or overhear loud conversations behind closed doors. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. There's truly no better place to call your home away from home than Hotel Palazzo Benci.

The Hotel was clean and quiet. It is a great location with shops and restaurants steps away. It is also about a 7 min walk to the train station. The staff were very accommodating. Alessandra in particular. Break fast was great and included. I would stay again if I were in Florence.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer at Hotel Palazzo Benci! The staff was so kind and welcoming and the recent room renovations were really well done. Our room was so quiet too! It looked out onto a busier plaza with restaurants, a view of the Medici Chapels, and even the Duomo and Bell Tower! But as soon as the windows were closed, you couldn’t hear a thing. I was traveling with a friend so it was great they offered single bed options (which were very comfy) so we each had our own space. The staff also called a taxi for us in the morning and had water and pastries packed for us to go. I’ll definitely stay here on my next trip to Florence!

Wonderful hotel in the very center of the city, close to everything, good breakfast, clean room, elevator, friendly and helpful staff. Close to the train station, nice restaurants close -by. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Front desk staff was most helpful

Such a wonderful find in the heart of Florence. The hotel was perfect location to walk to main attractions and very close to train. Great friendly staff very helpful amd super breakfast to start the day. Very clean too ! trattoria Za Za and La Bruchetta best dinner find

This hotel is a quick 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 minute walk to the Mercato Centrale. The room was very comfortable although the bathroom a bit small (no place to put your stuff). Nice and quiet compared to areas closer to the Duomo. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Florence.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful hotel. It was very central to all the amazing attractions that Florence has to offer. The location is also great for a wide range of restaurants and bars. As a 60yr old woman travelling alone I felt very safe during my stay and even with my mobility issues found I could walk to most places of interest. The nearest station is very close by and easy to find. Breakfast each morning was fabulous, fresh and the staff immaculately presented, helpful and friendly. My room was just right with everything I could need and I found it quiet at night. The staff in reception were very kind and helpful. I loved this hotel it was tasteful and beautiful and I hope to visit again someday perhaps. If anyone asks me where they should stay in Florence I shall tell them Hotel Palazzo Benci!

I stayed here for 2 nights for a work conference. The hotel lobby is really lovely and they have a beautiful little atrium to sit out in (or work from in my case!). My bedroom was small but comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Why I marked it down though is I found the room incredibly noisy. Firstly the hotel is located in a busy part of the city, so noise goes on until late at night and you really can't have your window open as a result. Secondly, where my room was located on the 1st floor, it right by the breakfast room, so it starts to get extremely noisy from about 6am when staff are preparing the breakfast room and then guests start to go in and make coffees etc. The doors to the breakfast room are wide open and all the noise goes straight into your bedroom. As a result I did not get much sleep during my stay here. A real shame because otherwise it's a lovely hotel.

Great find, lovely little hotel. Room was clean if functional but location location location. 10mins leisurely walk from Doumo and station 15 to Piazza del Signori . restaurants abundant locally and down the street from a great indoor food market Staff brilliant and great breakfast
