Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Me and my partner stayed 3 nights in the hotel, we had forgotten a travel adapter and the staff were so kind and gave one to us. The staff all went above and beyond especially the receptionist Valentina. Breakfast was great, just what you need to start the day. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. It was extremely convenient to walk from the hotel to everywhere in Florence, and right next to Santa Maria Novella station. We visited in December and were happy to have hearing in the room. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Mieliśmy wspaniały pobyt w hotelach C Joy Firenze - lokalizacja jest idealna do zbadania Florencji. To jest tylko kilka minut’ spacerem od dworca kolejowego Santa Maria Novella, co uczyniło przyjazd i wyjazd niesamowicie łatwy, a większość głównych zabytków znajduje się w odległości spaceru.  Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They checked in with us regularly to make sure everything went well. Śniadanie codziennie było wielkie, a ogromny krzyk na Jade, którego dobroć i gotowość do przejść i poza sprawiła, że nasze poranki jeszcze lepiej!  Nasz pokój był bezpłatny i pachnie niesamowicie - szczerze jeden z najlepszych zapachów pokoi hotelowych, które przeżyliśmy, ’d szczęśliwie korzystać z tego co oni używają w domu! Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, to była fantastyczne podstawy dla naszej podróży we Florencji. Zdecydowanie polecamy to każdemu, kto odwiedza miasto - idealna mieszanka lokalizacji, usług, komfortu i wartości. 10/10 od nas!

Spektakularny taras z widokiem na katedrę, wart swojej ceny. Śniadanie jest bardzo proste i nie ma wielu opcji poza ciastami

駅から7分、ウフッツイ美術館まで10分と、とても立地のいい場所にありますが、ホテルの看板があるわけではないので、見つけにくかった！10mそばに立っているのに、行ったり来たりしても分からず、近所のホテルマンに聞いたら「すぐそこだよ」て指差された先に小さなドア。インターホン押して、開けてもらって、3階に上がりようやくチェックイン。部屋は可愛い、朝食も朝早い出発だと言ったら「朝食店に作って前日引き渡しを依頼できる」と臨機応変な対応。シャワーもある、冷蔵庫もある、ベットボトル水も用意してある。部屋を出て一つ上に上がると共用の古都の屋根の風景がみえるテラスがある。チェックインがスムーズにいけばとてもいい宿。

Hotel położony stosunkowo blisko centrum: szybki tramwaj (trasa na lotnisko) 15 minut, spacerkiem około 8 minut. Tramwaj kursuje często, co 5-7 minut, cena 1,7 euro (bilet można kupić w automacie w godz przystanek i wbij go do środka tramwaju). Okolica jest cicha i spokojna. Jeśli chcesz, możesz dojść do centrum w około 40 minut. Pokoje są czyste, pościel dobra, jak we wszystkich hotelach tej sieci. Pokój dla jednej osoby jest mały, łazienka z prysznicem malutka. To świetna opcja na spędzenie nocy. Blisko lotniska. Około 15 minut spacerem znajduje się Lidl.

Excelente ubicación, excelente, trato y servicio por todo el personal, especialmente por el recepcionista que está por las mañanas y que sabe hablar español. Su amabilidad y su atención: excepcional, el que tenga piscina, aunque sea pequeñita, para darse un chapuzón sobre todo en verano, con el calor que hace, es un punto importante a tener en cuenta, y aunque he leído que no avisan de que no tiene ascensor y que muchos casos, como a nosotros, te mandan al segundo piso con muchos escalones, es cierto, pero también ellos te suben y te bajan las maletas. Sin duda, repetiré en este Hotel en mi próximo viaje a Florencia .

The interior is tastefully decorated, combining classic elements with modern touches. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend the Anglo American Hotel to travelers seeking a centrally located, well-appointed hotel with a charming ambiance in Florence.
