Arrived before scheduled check in time which turned out to be no problem at all. Clean room, great amenities, very comfortable bed. I was travelling partly to meet my fiancé but also to escape the loss of power in NW Louisiana from the storms the day before. Cannot complain, and I was thrilled to be able to do some laundry on site without having to worry about finding a laundromat on the way back. Cannot recommend this property enough, and it's close enought to downtown Philadelphia to allow for some great sight-seeing and dining (we ate at Porterhouse, check it out) as well as spending casual time.

I normally don't write reviews for hotels other than when they prove really good or terribly bad. However, our experience with this property was both, so it gets a ”middle of the road” mark. First, the bad: musty ordor in the room led me to discover the wet carpet near the AC that grew larger as time went by. Second, my wife came out of the shower to discover the hair-dryer did not work. Third, after requesting a replacement, it did not work either! And, fourth, by the time we returned from dinner, the growing stench and flooded carpet required us to move to another room for the rest of the night--causing us to pack everything back up and transfer to the new room. Now the good: The one staff person at the desk was gracious & apologetic for the problems and offered the room transfer, which we accepted because she found one adjacent to where we were making it an easy move. Also, the bed was good, room clean, and breakfast the next morning terrific---so no more complaints. For the price of the stay, it turned out good enough.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this Best Western! Staff at checking was very kind. We got a great night sleep! The room was clean and comfortable. Plus spacious enough to allow my 9 year old to pace a bit after being stuck in the car. Location is perfect. Easy to get to and with various dinner options around. Breakfast was really good. Enough options for all three of us! And food was hot and fresh and yummy. We all really enjoyed the pancake maker. I don't remember this from our last stay, but it was a great addition! My kiddo loved making and eating them. This is our favorite place to rest and refuel on our way from Texas to Florida.
