Hotel Parco Delle Agavi

We had to change rooms as there was no hot water. But the subsequent room wasn’t as nice. Breakfasts were lacking and in general the hotel is tired and needs updating. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the gardens are pleasant.

We had a great at Hotel Parco delle Agavi. All of the staff were really helpful and provided a lot of useful information about trips and things to do in the area. We booked through a Voyage Prive package and had various day trips including transfers to and from the hotel each day, everything went smoothly and we saw lots of beautiful places. The hotel is a short walk to Forio. The food in the hotel is good and there was a variety of dishes to select from each day.

We came here on our minimoon for a weeks ‘wellness’ package through voyage privé two days after our wedding and it was a really nice way to see the Amalfi coast and surrounding without having the stress or organising the trip yourself, after having organised so much for the wedding. The hotel had left a welcome gift of a bottle of Prosecco and fresh fruit in our room, which was very thoughtful and a lovely touch that made our stay feel special from arrival. Also ischia itself is really nice and far less crowded a place to be staying and was our personal favourite of the islands. I’m going to talk a bit out the entire package trip as well as the hotel, as the whole trip seemed to be organised through the hotel anyway. So bare with me, if you are just staying at the hotel. It might be worth knowing the excursions they offer, in any case. The deal included half board, a mini spa package, which was a 30 minute body massage and facial on site, which was great and day trips to positano and Amalfi on one day and Capri for the day on another, all were great to see, but please be advised that positano and Amalfi in one day is a long day of travelling as it’s about a 2 hour journey each way and so the stops are pretty rushed, particularly at positano, I think we barely go an hour there. Before moving on to Amalfi for a couple of hours and then a couple of hours travelling home, but both are lovelymplaces. The day trip to Capri is better because it’s only about an hour away by boat, but you get the whole day there. We decided to pay extra to buy a guided tour (by bus) from a vendor on the boat. I can strongly say don’t bother with this. It’s rubbish. It’s an uncomfortable glorified taxi that simply takes you along with a bus full of people to only two stops on the island, ana Capri and Capri itself, for ‘shopping for the ladies’ as they seem to think that’s all women are interested in… it also cost us 25 euro each for this privilege🙄 we wanted to see the landmarks and history of the island but no such luck. The final inclusion was a ‘day at the beach’ in nearby lacco ameno, here on the island. Was a bit disappointed with this, as the hotel inexplicably cancelled on the morning we were supposed to do this, with only an hours notice, when we had got up early to travel there, which was annoying. They rescheduled it for another day, but unfortunately that day was cloudy when the original wasn’t, which was frustrating and the cancellation ruined the illusion of the seamless prebooked package trip we paid for. Nonetheless, the day was nice when it came around and the included light lunch at picoletto was a highlight and we enjoyed the limoncello tasting afterwards, though of course there is an obvious onus on you to buy something, but we were happy to oblige! We weee not expecting a five star experience but there was something a little lacking here. We attended on a Voyage prive deal and have previously found their ‘sponsored’ hotels to be excellent. This was very ordinary with average rooms and a really badly presented dining room. By contract the food was excellent the one occasion we took dinner there.

I was here with my family for almost a week, we spent a nice and relaxing time in the structure. The staff is pleasant and pay the maximum effort to make your stay perfect. Food in the Piperna Restaurant was carefully prepared, varied and cooked with extreme attention. Swimming pool, thermal pool and Jacuzi... all perfect and fully enjoiable. An honorable mention to the breakfast served on the terrace, one of the most relaxing and appreciated moments by my family.

Questa struttura è molto carina ed estremamente funzionale. La cosa che colpisce da subito è la grandissima gentilezza e ospitalità del personale tutto, nessuno escluso. Le stanze sono carine situate tutte a piano terra e hanno tutte un terrazzino che sporge sui giardni puliti e ben curati. Le stanza molto essenziali sono sufficientemente curate e il cambio biancheria è garantito ogni giorno. Il fiore all'occhiello dell'hotel è certamente la cucina curata dallo chef Vincenzo Ascione che dire bravissimo è poco, il tutto sotto la cura e maestria del meitre Paolo e del suo vice Salvatore, sempre gentili, disponibili ed estremamente professionali nell'accontentare ogni esigenza degli ospiti. La cena, nella mezza pensione, è veramente molto buona con eccellenti primi e contorni ed ottimi secondi. Le colazioni ricchissime di dolci di ogni specie ed anche quella salata è di ottimo gusto e qualità. Qualche lato negativo sicuramente la lentezza nel preparare le stanze al nostro arrivo, un po' care le consumazioni al bar, non si può far pagare ad un ospite € 3,50 per una bottiglia di 750 ml di acqua, tantomeno €3,00 a bottiglia al tavolo per acqua microfiltrata ed infine siamo rimasti delusi dal pranzo delle 13,00 nel giorno della partenza, certamente non all'altezza delle ottime cene malgrado ritengo lo chef di altissimo livello. La struttura inoltre è dotata di una bellissima piscina coperta ed una ancora più bella all'esterno. Inoltre in giardino è situata una piscina Jacuzzi sempre a disposizione degli ospiti. C'è anche una Spa a disposizione di quelli che vogliono abbinare alla vacanza un po' di benessere e cura del corpo. Una citazione per i simpatici e gentilissimi Dario, Brigida e Gaetano, va sicuramente fatta prima di concludere con un bel 7,5 il voto all'Hotel. Volete sapere se ci tornerei? Sicuramente si, perché le cose positive sono di gran lunga maggiori di qualche pur piccola negatività. Geremia Niespolo

Bellissimo hotel a Forio nell'isola di Ischia, le camere sono situate tutte lungo un bel parco, e tutte a piano terra con terrazza che si affaccia sui giardini,molto belle, la piscina, spa e sauna molto ben fatte, colazione eccellente,personale molto professionale.

reservation par voy prive. tres bonnes surprise pour la cuisine et le service au top. paolo le chef de rang est comme defunes ds la grande vadrouille ...un vrai spectacle les assiettes et less setveurs volent autour de lui .... avec efficacite l oiel partout il regne en maitre de salle avec rigueur et sourire .. un vrai pro accompagne de serveurs servizble et sympathique salavayore gaetano ( parle francais) etc.... le tout avec des menus varies et succulent concocte par le chef. une derniete soiree du vendredi en terrasse sur le theme du poisson , un ballet de serveurs et de saveurs. les points moins les chambres petites et bruyantes on entend les voisins ronfler..... mais le comble du ridicule c est le port obligatoire du bonet ( 5 euros) a la piscine .. tout simplemnent une arnaque sans logique... sinon personnel sympathisue efficace. . dommage la salle de testauration en sous sol sans lumiere naturelle ..... je recommande pour la nourriture et l acceuil.
