Hotel Terme Providence

Great hotel. Staff very helpful. Good location and great food. Would stay again. Wonderful spa.

Located 20 minutes from Ischia Port. We were given a friendly greeting in English and shown to our lovely bedroom. The room was generous in size and clean. There was plenty of space for unpacking. The hotel is on a quiet part of the Island but you can easily take a 15 minute walk into Forio or a 10 minute stroll into Citara. The Island circling buses were a 5 minute stroll from the hotel, making everywhere reasonably accessible. There are restaurants within easy walking difference. I'd recommend trying the bar Paradise which is reasonably priced and comes with free snacks. I also had a lovely fish here. Jamma Ja is a pizza restaurant opposite Paradise and this was also good. Breakfast was plentiful and typically continental. We only had one dinner at the hotel which was very pleasant, although the fruit dessert was a whole uncut peach. We found the hotel staff friendly and full of advice.

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. The hotel is clean and tidy the staff very friendly and helpful the food on a half or full board basis is amazing really amazing. Not too far away from beaches and local amenities. Family run business and they are there to talk to you very friendly and made you feel welcomed

Spent a relaxing week at this superb hotel. Lovely pool with excellent terraces overlooking the bay. A seaview room is recommended in order to enjoy the breathtaking views and stunning sunset. The location is very convenient for a stroll into Forio or down to the local beaches. The staff was always very courteous, informative and professional. The hotel is very amenable for public transport. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The local Ischia rabbit was as good as my mother used to make. We shall definitely return on our next stay in Ischia.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. One of the main assets of this hotel is the staff, from Kyra and Jon Luca on reception to Leo in the bar and Amedeo and Alexandra in the dining room, nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Always polite and willing to help. We had the best view from our room of the pool and the bay and spent lots of time relaxing on our balcony. Food was home cooked and tradition, you can swap lunch for evening meal if you are half board, we did this on occasion and ate in Forio which was a 15 min walk away. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus during the day to Forio and the beach. The pool area was lovely to relax in as well as the thermal pools. A visit to Procida and Poseidon Garden are a must, local buses are easy to use. We also visited Sant Angelo which was worth a trip. The castle at Ischia is also a must. Forio is a lovely village with plenty of character and bars/restaurants and shops. The local public beach opposite the hotel down the steps was great for a swim and the cafe on the beach was lovely with great food. We were some of the few English guest in the hotel but made welcome by the predominant Italian and German guest and were made to feel included, communication was not a problem. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily with new towels, special thanks to the lady who cleaned our room who was polite and always had a smile. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and we will hopefully return.

My wife's Italian, from Naples, so we've visited Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast many times over the years. This was our first time on the Isle of Ischia. Coming in from the road, it just looks like an ordinary Italian hotel, set in lovely gardens. As you walk in through reception, you begin to realise there's not a thing out of place, and everything is spotless. We were in room 514 which is the 2nd floor, but one floor below reception, and had a full sea view. A larger than average room and bathroom, and again, well maintained and nothing out of place. Outside there's a lovely swimming pool and a thermal pool, of hot, very hot, volcanic water, and plenty of sunbathing space with easy access to the bar and snack bar. There's also an indoor, mineral salt water pool, 1 floor down from reception, that nobody seems to know about. We were down there every day, usually by ourselves. Now to the best bit, the food. As I said we've been coming to this part of Italy for years, and we've never had food like it. Starting with the salad buffet bar, which was a meal in itself, then 2 courses of authentic, tasty Italian food, 1 pasta course, 1 meat course and a sweet course. Not one disappointment in 12 nights. It's a family run hotel and nothing's too much trouble for any of the staff. We've just left there, and one of the owners carried our cases out and waved us off. All in all, the best hotel, overall, that we've ever been to in Italy and we've been to some, supposedly, very good hotels. I'd definitely come back again.

We had a pleasant experience at Providence Terme Hotel, upgrading unhappy from Imperial Terme Hotel! Accomodation at Providence was perfect, with a double bed room, see view, and what I liked the most, with a private garden, facing our room-numbers from 620 to 630. Breakfast sweets were tasty-localy prepared-by our taste could be less of them but a bit more&divers the other, chese, meat and vegetable. No fresh juice, but a very good espresso! Coming after 9’clock at breakfast, you reach less of everything..

I have decided together with my family and friend to go to Ischia for the first time and this was really one of our best holliday we have ever had. Everything was perfect since the first day. Very friendly and polite staff, accommodation, excellent food, spa. thermal water, pools, beautiful garden, etc. Hotel Providence has very good location, it is very close to Poseidon Gardens and to all places worth seeying. There was a shutlle service to Poseidon Gardens and to Forio. We have already booked the holiday for the same hotel in September and have decided to go there every year. The staff helped us with the transfer and arranged for us the boat trip around Ischia.

I have just returned from the most fantastic week spent in Ischia and at the Hotel Providence. I travelled alone and this was my first ever solo holiday and I have to say that the hotel exceeded my expectations! Firstly, the staff are just amazing - so friendly and welcoming and work so hard to please their guests. The team are headed up my the loveliest hotel owners, Giampaolo and his sister who take folks out on excursions and even to their own vineyard. Thanks especially to Maria and Kyra on reception (and the lovely Anton who looks after the night watch), Tomasso, Giovanni and the rest of the restaurant team for their excellent service and fabulous food and Christopher for is tremendous cocktails! 👌 Thank you to the lovely lady who serviced my room each day too - it was spotless! I definitely recommend having a spa treatment too - I had the citrus body scrub and a massage on my first day and felt completely chilled out - thank you Rosa and Concetta 🙏🥰 The location is perfect - just a short walk down the the beach or restaurants and bars in citara, but also only 15 minutes walk into Forio. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk too and you can explore the island so easily. They also serve homemade items that mamma makes! I'll definitely be returning to Ischia, but certainly back to this hotel too. Grazie mille Hotel Providence!! 🥰 X
