If you have any other choice, DO NOT stay here. The check-in experience was the most inept that I’ve ever seen. The condition of our room was deplorable. By the front door was a broken lamp, with the top part hanging sideways. We were unable to sit in our front room at night because NONE OF THE DOOR SHADES worked at all, letting all who walked past look in. The tub’s enamel was so worn away that it just looked filthy. The room had a window air conditioner, which turned on and off all night long, resulting in terrible sleep. Worst of all was the management. I was SO dissatisfied, after paying over $220.00 for this room, that I called the hotel, looking for a further discount. It took 5 phone calls (!), to finally be told that nothing will be done for me. Both the manager and the general manager spouted inaccuracies, false assurances and platitudes. We had rented 2 rooms, THAT is why I requested a discount. Our friends’ room had NO window A/C, no broken lamp, and had fully close able window shades—again, facing the parking lot! This direct comparison proves that my room was NOT equal to the room next door. So, if any of this sounds good to you, please stay here. I have never been treated so poorly, not paid so much, for a room in all my life. Also, I’ve never once left a scathing review in over 40 years of travel, so this is no embittered, serially- unhappy reviewer. In all decency, one shouldn’t have to shell out over $220.00 for a room in such disgusting condition.
