Wonderful stay. Walked everywhere. Didn’t use the car. And the N ew River Tour boat dock right across the street.

The property was great! My room had kinda old furniture that didn't close all the way or would too easily pop open, but that was more funny than annoying. I stayed in a room in the old part of the hotel - so, that was expected. The wi-fi was perfect. Never a problem. While the hotel was great - if you are looking to save money in dining, this area is not the place for you. There are no quick, less expensive restaurants near this area. Food was wonderful at all the restaurants, but if you are looking for a quick $10 burrito, you need to go elsewhere.

Hotel was fine just not for the price you pay. Nothing was super wrong it just wasn’t great. Our room did have a crack in the bathroom sink. Also there’s no counter in the bathroom to put anything there. There’s also no vending machines or food once their restaurant and gift shop closed. Again, overall it’s fine you are just paying a lot of money for an average hotel.

The tower is better than the older part— but still the people with us stay there and music played most of the night— we were on second floor and over the entrance very noisy room had a very musty smell to it—

Great location but the room was a little dated. The front desk was great but the elevator was down and it took us almost 30 minutes to get to our room. We waited and waited for it to be fixed after they had a fire alarm. Finally we found the stairs which was a little confusing. They had another alarm go off at around 2am.

Pros - nice pool, cool view, large room, location, restaurants onsite and a good happy hour. Clean.
Cons - The reasons why I chose less stars. Air conditioning did not work in the room, it was running and we tried to put temp down, but it was sticky and warm in our room. I kept stepping into hallway to get cool.
Rooms are outdated. Bed was uncomfortable. Lobby was really dirty, I don't think it is from lack of cleaning...its just the rugs and the furniture are stained on almost every seating area we saw and the rugs were dingy and dark. Surprising for an upscale hotel that hosts weddings and events that they would allow their facility to look unmaintained

Wonderful hotel! We stay every time we cruise from FLL. It has a perfect location on Las Olas Blvd. with shopping, restaurants, and easy access to the water taxi across the street. The only downsides are the lack/placement of electrical outlets and few, if any, USB ports and no grab bar in the shower used by all ages. Renovations will take place later this year and that will be corrected

I have been staying at this hotel for several decades and you can tell that there has been a change of management or ownership. Everything from the interiors to the rooms have become cheesy and low quality. Entering the hotel, someone decided to change the lighting to kill the old school ambiance that made this hotel special into cheap motel feeling. Gone are the bathrobes, quality toiletries and quality coffee makers. Just the cheapest "Motel 6" items. Very disappointed.
