An absolutely disgusting hotel with the rudest check in person. We arrived after 11 and called the line, woman came to check us in was nice. 8 next morning they sent a man our room with a key because they didn’t record what room we were in. When we voiced our concerns, she got nasty. Room is worst I have ever been to, toilet screams when flushed, no hot water, and absolute dump. Outside looks okay but rooms are horrible. I expected a chain would be okay, it was certainly not

I booked a room at the HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof located at 3031 W Commercial Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 United States. The check in experience was terrible. The staff are rude and hostile. I stayed in the room for less than 1 hour when we almost got robbed by someone that may or may not have been staying at the same hotel. The room was DISGUSTING. ********** all over the bathroom sink and toilet. Burn marks all over the shower and dressers. The room had a smell of urine and bleach was absolutely repulsive. I did not stay in that room for none of the nights I paid for. I tried to explain this to the staff and they pretty much told me to leave. As a courtesy, I dropped off the room keys and tried to inform a different staff member of this for a possible refund and they told me to leave the location. I’m at a loss for words at such a horrible experience this hotel has brought me. I hope this reaches the right person and I hope for a full refund.

It must have been mostly converted to rentals long term. Not real clean, mattress not too good. Towels were good. I was shocked to find out they didn't have an ice machine. The neighborhood might be dangerous as there was a security guard in the parking lot when i came home at 10:oo pm. Now the good was it was 100. a night in Fl high season in Ft Lauderdale. It is fine if you are not concerned about all details. It did have a full size refigerator and a cook top and microwave.

For the price it’s worth it. Location is great but rooms need to be remodeled and cleaned better. A decent stay on a budget.

Guests are always smoking ****, at night there is a lot of noise and people fighting. I felt insecure.

Room was not clean well. My wife had to clean it. We even ask the office not to get in our room for the time we were there. 8 days. Cooktop was not working and it is very old. One of the front desk ĺady very rude. Cleaning lady also very rude and talk back to customers with an attitude. I had to remind her that we as customer pay her salary she tried to close the door in my face, I had to put my foot to block the door from hitting me. Will not recommend this place
