My “go to” hotel in Freiburg I’m Breisgau. Rather than stay in the city center, this family run hotel has the charm and quiet you need. Ample off street parking and a brief walk to the local tram (line 1) and bus connections. Good restaurant and fast wifi/internet.

Very clean and quiet hotel with modern and spacious rooms, nice balconies and private parking in a nice village. We were three in the family plus a dog and they catered very well for us all. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to help: we arrived late but the lady in the reception even stayed after closing time to welcome us and let us in, even though we had already been advised of a key box outside. Made us feel extra welcome! The restaurant was closed (Sunday night) but breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I am in the area.

We were passing through and needed a quick overnight stay, check in easy. Room was spotless. Sorry the restaurant and bar were closed on Monday night. They look very good. Highly recommended! Easy access in and of autobahn

Looking for a Freiburg area hotel with parking (park & forget your car) and convenient walk to the VAG tram network. East checking, tidy and modern rooms, easy to connect and fast enough wifi. So handy, I returned the following week. Stay here and take the tram (line #1) to the city.

This family-owned hotel-restaurant blew our minds in terms of quality of service, friendliness, and even sheer size. In fact, my family joked that the bathroom alone was as large as our previous hotel room. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were huge, but folded in a way that made them optionally smaller, the balcony of our room 116 had flower pots and we could watch and even film pollinators visiting every flower in the evening to the amusement of our 6-yo daughter. I personally like good water pressure in my shower, so I was literally blown away by the water power in this hotel - at maximum it felt like it would take off by itself like a SpaceX Falcon9 rocket! It easily beat my previous favorite found in a 5-star Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai to take the top of my personal shower-power list! The quality of the food in the restaurant was amazing, and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. The same applies to the breakfast which was included. The only negative about the amenities I could note was the lack of air conditioning (there is heat for the winter, but in the summer you have to create draft via the windows during a heat dome situation like we were in in July 2022). I guess this increases the eco-friendliness score though... In every other aspect this 3-star property either rivaled or exceeded our experience in a 4-star hotel in Geneva we stayed in earlier that week. We would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Een zeer leuk hotel met een goed restaurant net buiten Freiburg. De kamers waren erg mooi en zeer schoon. Tevens hadden de kamers een ruim balkon. Het restaurant is heel goed voor een heerlijk diner en het ontbijt was zeer ruim. Nette ontvangst en goede gastvrijheid. Net naast het hotel de mogelijkheid om met de tram binnen 20 minuten hartje Freiburg te zijn. Hotel heeft eigen gratis parkeerplaats.

Ein klasse Hotel, die Zimmer sind groß, geräumig und haben einen großen Balkon. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, auch das Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) sind ein Gaumenschmaus. Das Hotel bietet auch jede Menge kostenlose Parkplätze, mit der S-Bahn (Haltestelle ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt) ist man in 10-15 Minuten in der Innenstadt, zum Mundenhof ist es ebenfalls nicht weit mit dem Auto/Fahrrad. Perfekte Unterkunft, um Freiburg und die Umgebung zu erkunden, kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Traditions Hotel, mit tollem ( nicht günstigem Restaurant ) nettes Personal, toller Service, Parkplätze umsonst und genügend, Frühstück passt auch für den Preis , 300 Meter zur Haltestelle , mit Linie 1 in 15 Minuten in der Stadt. auch klasse für einen Absacker nach dem shoppen an der Bar..

Mein Mann und ich waren schön öfters zu Gast in diesem Haus. Die Zimmer sind einfach perfekt und wunderschön eingerichtet, das Essen sensationell. Frühstück auch sehr gut, Freundliches und gutgelauntes Personal. E Ladestation für E Auto. Immer wieder gerne, absolut empfehlenswert.
