Shaw cottage with 4 over 70 years old adults was the perfect solution. Easy up hill access to the ferry, loved the parking lot entrance short cut to the entrance instead of climbing the hill all the way and yet the lovely little patio and surrounding trees still make you feel like you’re not on the road. No steps ground floor but safe. The bathroom plumbing was very up-to-date great shower effective toilet nothing old here in the kitchen was also remodeled and contains all we needed. I loved all the natural light and yet you felt like you could leave the blinds open because of the patio and green space. Perfect amount of in person text and email contacts from the management making sure you were OK. Great breakfast and they even packed to go breakfast to leave early for the ferry the next day. Could’ve used a full-size mirror on the wall somewhere since you are sharing a bathroom but it was nice to have an extra sink in the kitchen for brushing teeth etc. You only get two keys but we made that work. Relatively quiet location although close to town, no noise from town but you could hear the ferry announcements if you have the windows open which we enjoyed since the weather was perfect.

We were adopting a shelter cat on San Juan Island so we booked an overnight at Tucker House Inn's Lizzie's Cabin, and it was a good experience. The cabin was nicely appointed, clean, comfortable, and the location couldn't be more convenient if you want to be in the heart of the charming town of Friday Harbor.

Over-the-top with attention to detail and hospitality. I had a Kings Cake pastry included with my fabulous breakfast on Mardi Gras day!

We had an amazing experience here. The staffs were really friendly, the services were incredible, breakfast was perfect! We will 100% recommend this place to others.

Once again Tucker House went all out to give us the quiet and enjoyable experience we consistently have there. Incredible breakfast (chef's choice) delivered to our suite each morning, wonderful interaction with staff for questions and lovely accommodations within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It's why this is our favorite place to stay whenever we visit Friday Harbor.

It’s not a new building, so don’t expect sleek and modern, but it’s immaculate, cozy, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the bed is SO comfy and inviting. My pets appreciated the treats and water bowls. If you want to walk on a SJI Ferry, the location is perfect!!

What a gorgeous B&B! We stayed in the castle wall room, nicely decorated and plenty of room to move around. We found the staff to be very friendly. The breakfast is brought each morning and left in a basket on a table outside the room. Excellent food, I am Gluten Free and my breakfast was safe and delicious . Highly recommend this B&B!

Excellent rental. Convenient walk or drive from ferry. Very efficient use of space inside. Very quiet and clean. Provided breakfast brought to the door of the cottage. Good wifi. Excellent communication from rental management throughout. Good value. I would rent it again if I came with similar circumstances.
Side note - I couldn't get the teapot to heat on the stovetop, but it may have been something I was doing wrong. And it was fine since I was able to heat water in the microwave.

Excellent, above and beyond service from the moment of booking until even post checkout. Tranquil garden, cozy room and make sure not to skip breakfast - it's one of the best i ever had in an inn: all homemade and presented beautifully. No wonder this place ranks amongst the top in the Inn Scene Spring/Summer '23 edition. Have a look for yourselves. Thanks again, Tucker House Team for unforgettable stay last week!
