This hotel was really a nice stay, but The Cafe at the hotel was a disappointment. We went to the Cafe around 20:00 and had been told at the reception, it was possibly to order some food. The Cafe staff told us that the kitchen was closed so we could only order something to drink. When we sat down, without food, the staff brought pizzas and salads to many of the tables around us for a long period of time. Really bad service.

Yderst charmerende. Flot udsigt, store værelser. Men ingen tv eller elevator.
Mangler en restaurant med "rigtig" mad.
Der var kun en cafe/bar med lidt "bar"-mad samt selvbetjening og -selvafrydning
Fint som stay over for en enkelt nat enroute.

Fantastisches Gebäude mit traumhaftem Ausblick in exzellenter Lage hoch über Fulda. Die Kombination des Kloster- und Hotelbetriebes ist sehr gut gelöst. Der Service ist freundlich und perfekt.
Die perfekt und neu gestalteten Zimmer sowie die Gastronomie im Haus mit großer Außenterrasse machen den Aufenthalt zum großartigen Erlebnis.

Undervejs fra Danmark til Schweiz tog vi en overnatning i Fulda. Vi ankom i mørke og regnvejr. GPS'en fandt klostret, men mørke og dårlig skiltning førte til en del "køren rundt" inden vi kørte ind ad en mindre vej/sti med et skilt, der viste til handicapparkering. Det viste sig at være den rigtige vej og der var ok parkering til alle. Receptionen lå på den anden side af en stor kirke, men da vi først fandt den var alt ok. Venlig indtjekning og fint værelse med egen bibel på tysk. Fantastisk udsigt over byen og superlækker morgenanretning i cafeen. Klostret har stadig munke og fungerer endvidere som dagcenter for handicappede. Flere restauranter i nærheden - receptionen udleverede liste over disse.
