Hampton Inn and Suites Fultondale Birmingham I 65

Felt like new. Clean, modern. Comfortable bed. Decent water pressure (even on the top floor). Ok-size room. Breakfast was pretty-much the usual fare. They ran out of eggs at 8:15. Biscuits were quite tasty, though. Great location, just off the interstate; close to numerous restaurants. Decent rate, but taxes and fees seemed high.. I'd stay again.

Perfect location right off I-65, with several restaurants for dining and gas stations for refueling. We stopped overnight on our way to Panama City Beach. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. The front desk clerk acknowledged our Diamond membership level and provided appropriate complimentary items. She was very kind, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best with many options and wide variety. The tables were not clean and we never saw the employees in that area, but everything was well stocked. We would highly recommend this Hampton Inn!

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm traveling to Birmingham AL for business or pleasure. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is clean, in a good location and close to a number of restaurants. There's an Outback literally next door. The only issue I had was that upon checking out my receipt total was higher than my reservation total that I received after booking via the Hilton site. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk, she said the total I receive via the Hilton website is an estimate. I said WHAT that is NOT how that works. The total you get when you book online via the Hilton website is not an estimate that is your final total; if it were an estimate that would defeat the purpose of booking online and being guaranteed a specific rate. I asked to speak with a manager, she corrected the charges and resolved the issue.

This hotel was spot on. They are conveniently located. Many restaurants near by and an Outback and O’Charleys right next door. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. One of the best Hampton Inns we have stayed in. I would definitely recommend and would stay here in the future.

This is a new hotel, having opened in July of 2023. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and good outlets for charging devices. The new shower design was especially impressive, with the control knob on the back wall opposite the showerhead in front. No more cold splashes! It is located just off I-65, with an Outback Steakhouse and O'Charley's both literally within steps of the hotel. There's also a Whataburger, several gas stations, and shopping options nearby. It was a perfect stop for us on our way back to Kentucky from Florida.

We had the best experience ever at the Hampton Inn in Fultondale, Alabama. The staff was so extra! The hotel was pristine. The pillows were fluffy in the bed slept amazing. They were great parking and the free Breakfast was so yummy. There are so many choices for dining and shopping. We will absolutely be back for a staycation!

I’m a Lifetime Diamond member (yes that is an official thing) so to say I have stayed at Hilton properties would be an understatement. When booking my business trip I was staying in Huntsville, then Birmingham and finishing in Gulf Shores so it was a 3 legged trip with this property in the middle. When I was booking all three Hilton stays, I inadvertently chose the wrong week for this hotel (the other two were correct). Once I realized I was charged for a no show, I called the hotel to try and get the charge reversed and rebook my reservation for the correct day. In the end the hotel would make the same amount. When the local manager called me back, she was rude curt and unwilling to handle the situation properly. so she charged me for the no show and then asked if I wanted to rebook a new reservation for the proper day (effectively charging me twice). In my 20+ years of career travel and stays with Hilton this is the first time I have ever not had a Hilton property work with me to resolve a situation. I would stay away from this property and not give them business. I don’t post reviews at all so take this one as legit worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Stayed here after a long day of travel. It’s just north of Birmingham off I-65. Original Hampton Inn was destroyed by a tornado in 2021 and the front desk said the new hotel opened last week. Everything is fresh and clean - our room, common areas, breakfast area. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection had a lot to offer. There is a good selection of both sit down and fast food restaurants nearby to choose from. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
