The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to organise taxis and have food delivered. For a 3 star hotel the facilities were very good with a bar that opened late. If you want to eat in an area id provided for you to eat a take away which is more pleasant than eating it in your room.

A lovely place, with lots of plush sofas and carpets and wooden floors. Quiet, in a side street. Rather small rooms, but the beds are excellent. The breakfast is basic, but a lot, and you can have it in the open (there's no buffet, though). The lady-owner is a separate gem and will go out of her ways so that you enjoyed your stay. Ask for a room with the terrace, the view on the city is excellent.

Es un alojamiento sencillo, con algunas cosas desgastadas, pero con un precio ajustado para Funchal. Está bien para pasar un par de noches y conocer la ciudad. Aunque en cuesta, se llega al centro en unos 15-20 minutos andando, es fácil aparcar en las proximidades. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero suficientemente cómodas, siempre que uno tenga claro que es un sitio sin lujos. Personal muy amable. Desayuno regular pero con buenas vistas.
