Apartamentos Funchal by Petit Hotels

We rented a studio on the 3rd floor for 2 weeks and we loved it! Centrally located, at walking distance of the Cathedral, the main squares Columbus and Municipio with their nearby museums, Mercado dos Lavradores, Avenida Arriaga, the Old City and all other central attractions, including bus stations, the cable car station and several supermarkets. The hosts Veronica, Caterina and Lugero approached us one day in advance and provided instructions on how to find the place; one of them also waited for us to greet us and show our studio. The studio was new and very clean; free cleaning was provided once per week. The room was large, with a small terrace and a modern kitchen quite well equipped, even with a washing machine that we did not use. The free internet worked well, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the staff was kind and helpful. The building has a lift used only for luggage, and at its entrance there is a small restaurant offering delicious local foods at reasonable prices. All the neighboring streets offer good options for shopping and for food and drinks. We visited in February so no need for AC, instead we needed a radiator that the host was very kind to provide. We would have appreciated to find in the kitchen a cutting board and some basics like salt, pepper, oil and vinegar, as it makes no sense to buy these when you stay for only a couple of days. As we stayed almost 2 weeks we bought and used them; even though the recipients remained almost full.

The first picture is of the apar**ent we are staying in. It is new fresh and modern. Not easy to find but I gave the telephone number to the taxi driver who spoke to our host. There was Carolina waiting to greet us.She couldn’t have been more helpful and showed us around. The apar**ents are very close to everything so the Cathedral is one minutes walk away, the bus station only five. For us it has bus good introduction to Funchal being close to the center of everything.

Hyper centre à côté de la cathédrale, donc hyper bon emplacement Pas de climatisation Mais c'est très calme Au fond d'un chemin petit immeuble d'appartement en location touristique C'est très sécurisé par une clé puis 1 code et 1 autre code pour votre appartement Nous avions un appartement en rdc avec une machine à laver. Vous pouvez étendre votre ligne sur la terrasse. L'appartement possede des volets C'est très propre L'accueil est agréable et cous donne pleins de bons conseils en anglais. Pas de parking Le seul problème c'est que nous avions réservé pour 4 et que on nous a certifié le contraire et que nous avons du payer 30 euros en liquide bien sur pour préparer les lits supplémentaires et en plus le 4eme lit n'est pas fait pour un adulte mais pour un enfant. C'est pour cela que je mets une mauvaise note
