Excellent location! Able to walk to town and explore. Able to walk to Caldeiras Garden which is beautiful, ride bikes to Lake Furnas and hike Grena waterfall park which is amazing but a tough hike for those not in shape. The hotel offers thermal pools, steam room, sauna and a beautiful green house like dining area that is lovely. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I loved my time in Furnas and this spa hotel was a very welcoming and clean place to stay. Breakfast buffet offers everything and food is very good.

beautiful position , nice room , restaurant and Spa. perfect service at the bar and at the reception. the menu of the restaurant is well organised both for meat or fish and vegetarian . Good choice of wine . we particularly appreciated the very professional service at the Bar where we could also have the chance to eat a very nice pizza cooked on the wood fire

What a special place to celebrate two special birthdays! We were greeted with tea and hot towels, which was refreshing after our flight. The hot spring pool and massages completely rejuvenated us! The spa staff was very personable and explained their services in detail. They individualized our trea**ents based on the details we provided, and their skill and expertise made for an amazing experience. We dined at the Octant Furnas for 3 of our 4 dinners, and the quality of the food was consistently exceptional. The delicious breakfast provided each morning had lots of variety. Most noteworthy, however, was the fantastic staff at this hotel. The front desk personnel took a personal interest in making sure we were enjoying ourselves at all times. The staff in the dining room, bar, and spa all went out of their way to take care of us and do everything within their power to make our stay as special as possible. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Octant! The hotel had the most wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful with information about the island, including dinner recommendations! Rooms were clean and pretty - and the pools were delightful! We would definitely go back!

We had a fantastic time staying at Octant Furnas. Everything was excellent! We've lived in different countries and have travelled extensively and this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at. From the check in to the organising of activities, everything was fabulous. We'll certainly come back!

I had a wonderful stay at the Octant Furnas. The thermal pools are a very special experience for body and soul! I also really enjoyed the room (I stayed in one of the rooms with access to the pool on the patio). I would also like to give special thanks to Bianca at the front desk. Every time I had a question or need, she was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. She is an incredible asset to the Octant! I used room service, and it was great as well. Every guest with whom I interacted during my stay also seemed to be relishing the hotel. This is a very special hotel in a beautiful location - do not hesitate to book a stay at the Octant!

This hotel is outstanding. The town and location are perfect. It is easy to travel anywhere on the island. However, the real beauty is once you check-in. All of the staff at the front desk, as well as the breakfast, restaurant, and bar staff, are fantastic. I eagerly await my spa trea**ent tomorrow! Breakfast is included with many delicious options. After a long day of hiking and exploring, you can come back and relax in the outdoor or outdoor pool. Both pools are warm and wonderful, and there is also a sauna to enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel!

The property overall takes the design cues from the nature that surrounds it which makes it feel of-place. The room has nice and thoughtful decor. The pool areas are nice but can get crowded late afternoon or early evening as people check in and go straight to the pool. The pool water is filtered hot spring water so it doesn’t smell. The indoor pool is a comfortable temperature, the outdoor pool isn’t heating and is a refreshingly cool temperature for a hot day. The bed was comfortable. The place is quiet, there is a little little road noise but it’s not a big deal. The breakfast was great, there was a large selection (too many to list) and all the food was good quality and taste. There is tea available in the lobby. There were bikes available to rent by the day of half day. The shower in our room overflowed onto the floor each shower; we told the front desk but they either didn’t do anything or couldn’t do anything about it (not sure which) but they just gave us more floor towels.
