Romantik Hotel zur Post

Lovely large rooms and bathrooms with very high ceilings (I was on the first floor). Nice bright and traditional interior decor. Very helpful and friendly staff. Ms. Victoria helped figure out postage and put my freezer bags in the freezer. Excellent dinner salad (tropical). Landed here by chance in the middle of the noisy Bruckfest and was most relieved that my room faced the inner courtyard. I appreciate how welcoming Mrs. Verena Kraus was to my dog Mia.

This is a traditional hotel in the best sense of the word, local history is writ large, as well as excellent service. Everything feels friendly and natural - a truly relaxing experience where you feel in good hands throughout.

It was out second time at this hotel and it is a little bit like staying in a museum which is nice and rooms are nice. Only problem was we had planned to have a nice drink early on in the bar at 18.00 before going out etc. Walked into the bar and the 2 bar stools were occupied and we asked where to sit in this enormous empty dining room and we were informed it was 'difficult' and no real options - we were amazed. How can you have a 4 start hotel with effectively no bar for resident guests??? they reluctantly said they might be able to squeeze us onto an end of a table if we were quick (in an empty huge dining room). It was obvious we were not welcome. We also saw other guests asking for bar service and they were also dissapointed and sent to a Pizzeria - can you believe that? This is simply not good enough for a 4 star hotel and for us spoilt the stay and I doubt if we will be back. I have decided to give 2 stars because of value. at 100 euro a night ok but 150 and no chance of a beer after a long trip - sorry this gets 2 stars

Pretty good hotel in the traditional style. Basic rooms and furnishings, pretty tired bed/bedding. Very friendly and amenable staff and nice breakfast room/buffet. Fair value for money overall

A beautiful period property that reminds you that not all elegant small village hotels have gone away ... such a lovely little place! I wish I had booked a longer visit!

I booked this lovely hotel the night before we arrived. I was looking for a place with free parking. Their lot is being renovated, but they have another lot around the corner with a covered walkway leading to the hotel so it was very easy. Check in was a breeze, they give you a real key attached to an adorable keychain. The hotel has many antiques on display so it’s fun to take some time to look at things on the way to your room. Room was very clean. Lots of space. Excellent water pressure and the bed was comfortable. My rate included breakfast and it was wonderful. They will make you some eggs and bacon in addition to the things put out for the buffet. The service was outstanding. You can buy a transit pass right at the reception desk. Bus stop right outside, but walking to the train station wasn’t bad either. Very happy with our visit.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, das Hotel ist sehr schön und hat seinen Flair. Die Speisen waren sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkmöglichkeiten: Ich habe mich nach den Hotel, Parkmöglichkeiten und Beschilderung gerichtet, und in den Hotelparkhaus geparkt. Es waren vorbildlich ca.25 Parkplätze frei. Was an der Rezeption zu Diskussionen führte, Ich würde vor anderen Gästen bloßgestellt. Ich hätte hier nicht parken dürfen. So ein Gespräch entspricht keinen Standard für 4 Sterne. Ich habe so was noch nie erlebt, und die Aussage : Der Chef möchte das nicht das im Parkhaus geparkt wird. Obwohl ich hierfür auch bezahlt habe. Somit ist das Hotel nichts für Gehbehinderte.
