DO NOT COME HERE! THEY HAVE ROACHES AND THE STAFF IS RUDE! My husband and I booked a one night stay and it was the worst night sleep I ever had. Roaches were all in the bathroom and bed. The receptionist was rude and ignored the issue. Now we have to wash and throw out our things to not bring roaches back with us. SO DISGUSTING! For 200 dollars a night you would think they could afford an exterminator..just saying! Save your money and stay anywhere else

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this hotel! They have Fleas and when I asked the manager for accomodations for this inconvenience, they treated me with the uttermost disrespect! Don't waste your money or your time at this place! It's a dump! The manager Dee is very RUDE!

Needed a one night stay before cruise. This hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants, but was quiet for the night. I had read some pretty awful reviews but decided to go anyway. Yes, it is in need of some paint here and there, but was clean. Our room had been updated recently. They are in the process of renovating all the rooms. I did not see any bugs as others reported. The breakfast was adequate, continental. Didn't use pool or fitness room.

This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Filthy. I’m not even sure they clean in between guests. Found previous guests hair, every surface had stains or marks that needed to be cleaned, there were crumbs and debris on the floors. The bathroom was rusting on the walls, doors, and anything stainless steel. The toilet was not even secured to the floor and moved when you used it. The beds are terribly uncomfortable and the sheets have holes and are frayed to the point where you can see through them in multiple places. The carpets and chairs have mysterious stains. The common areas have a stench that I can’t quite place and the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. I would rate this 0 stars if I could. If this is your only option for a hotel in the area, sleep in your car.

I don’t write these reviews ever….but I feel it’s important to add one after such an experience. This place is dirty. Stains on sheets, stains on carpet, rust everywhere, and the bathroom is filthy. Don’t recommend at all. It says there’s a gym- nope- it’s closed. Trash all over the roof and parking lot. Staff is not very friendly. Breakfast….they have decent coffee- but no real selection of food with only pasties and cereal. If this is your last resort…then stay here. Otherwise I recommend to stay elsewhere.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Here are our complaints -only one lamp in our very dark room -paint pealing off bathroom walls with what looks like rust stains -thin and fraying towels - bad order in hallways - very limited breakfast choices, all of which were tasteless - read past reviews from several years ago with similar complaints, despite one reply from Choice Hotels saying they would contact management to rectify complaints. Hmmm

Don't stay here, the place is dirty and run down. They had trouble with the water are sntire stay. Water come out of a pipes yellow, with very low pressure. There was trash on the floor, black mold and tub And the balcony was discussing with paint debris and broken tile! Don't even give me started on the breakfast 🤣

I wished I had checked reviews prior to selecting this hotel. I have stayed at Country Inn and Suites before and this was definitely the worst experience ever. My daughter and I checked in on a Friday night. Upon walking into the room we were assigned to, there was a roach crawling on the wall, a spider crawling on the bed, the top covers needed to be replaced, and the bathroom sink had not been cleaned. As we headed out to our event, we asked to be switched to another room and we were told all of the rooms are the same. When we returned from our event, we went upstairs to grab our things and left. No one was at the desk when we left, so we called as we drove back home to let them know we left. I tried reaching out again the next day using the email on the business card and it bounced back. It is Tuesday and I just found out that the manager stated no refund. So, I had to resolve with Choice Hotels. Please note, the generic responses to our reviews are not helpful unless something is actually being done to improve the experience of customers.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Located next to the beach and pier. Hotel is a little dated, AC was loud, but we enjoyed our stay. We walked to several restaurants near by also the beach and historic pier before boarding our cruise.
