After my pleasent stay in yash shree Lauchung, i was very excited that i would be staying in their another property “Sikkim Blossom” in Gangtok… but all my happiness disappeared after i reached their Sikkim blossom property. After a 14 hr continous journey from Lachung to Gangtok (including visit fir zero point), I reached hotel around 9:00 pm in night on 23rd may 2024 and Room number 202 and 203 were allotted to me. Following is my feedback… 1. Property is not a 4 star property as claimed them. No central heating and cooling available… no AC available… guests have to ***age with ceiling fan only. 2. Room amenities are different than what is shown on their portal. 3. From the delux room, you get the excellent view of neighbours house only….it gives a feeling that you are staying in underground bunker… their entrance lobby (road level) is 3 floor… so you can imagine how it feels like staying below the road level. 4. Last but not least, one of room (room number 202) allotted to me had the malfunctioned lock and hotel staff already knew it in advance but still they allocated the room to us just because they were oversold and for them money is priority and not at all worried about guest safety and security. (Electronic door lock was not working at all.. to cover this Hotel had provided a ***ual bolt to lock from inside but door wasn’t getting locked from outside.) Since i was tired , so i closed the door and bolted it from inside and slep to wake up next day… Next day when we had to go for sight seeing, i got to know abt malfunctioned door and when asked the hotel reception , they sent a staff with me as if they are not aware of anything. When i asked the hotel staff came to inspect, he said that they know it is malfunctioned. He confirmed that there is no other room available, thus room has been allotted to you. I was told to leave the keys so that lock can be repaired in my absence and i agreed… To my surprise when i came back in night around 8:30 pm on 24th may 2024, i got to know that room lock is still like that…( malfunctioned way). Hotel didn’t put any efforts to rectify it as it was already known issue to them and they are okay ti compromise guest safety and security… secondly, they didn’t bother to call and inform me of the situation during the day so that i dont even have option to check out the hotel…my room remained unlocked and accessible to everyone for approx 12 hours.. When i confronted hotel desk and GM, why you didn’t inform me for lock not getting repaired and asking what i would like to do, his first reponse was what would have happened if they woold have called me… There cant be any major security lapse than this….Very pathetic service from yashshree group….Stay at your own risk if you want… Not at all recommended to stay in any of Yashshree property as in my opinion, hotel ***agement attitude defines what kinds of services they want to provide or how much they care for guests… in my case a room with malfinctioned
