These are beautiful apartments finished to a very high standard. They have everything you need and are well situated next to the station. The staff were helpful: when we arrived late at night Marie was friendly and waited for us to check us in and show us round

Great location especially if you are not planning to come by car. The train station (3 minutes walk away) takes you either to Munich or the various base stations of Garmisch classic or Zugspitze. Local train ticket is included in the free guest card you’ll receive upon check-in. Restaurants are plentiful in walking distance. Facilities still feel brand-new. Very high standard for a youth hostel. The Sauna with a view is great. Room furniture is functional, but still cool. Drawers for clothes are hidden in the bed frames. Great shower. No tv though …it’s a hostel. Staff is friendly, but if you expect full service 24/7 you should go to a hotel. Same is true for the breakfast. You get what you need. Moun10 was exactly what my son and me needed for a great skiweekend. Thank you, Moun10

Wir haben für ein 3er Zimmer mit Frühstück für 2 Nächte knapp über 400 EUR bezahlt. Das ist für das Gebotene definitiv zu viel. Die Zimmer sind - JH-typisch- spartanisch ausgestattet. Sich sonst JH eben: Betten selber abziehen, keine Zimmerreinigung zwischendurch, kein TV im Zimmer, Tisch selber abräumen. Natürlich ist das in einer JH völlig normal. Dann darf man aber keinen Hotelpreis aufrufen. Das Frühstück ist ok, aber wirklich nicht mehr als das. Die Lage ist top, zur Zeit allerdings inmitten einer Großbaustelle. Nach dem Internetauftritt hatte ich wirklich mehr erwartet. Zur Wahrheit gehört aber auch, dass Garmisch eben teurer ist als anderswo.

Leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht von der Art der Kommunikation wie die Herberge mit Fragen und Problemen umgeht. Es wurde beim ersten Telefonat komplett etwas anderes versprochen als bei der zweiten Nachfrage schließlich möglich war. Wenn, dann bitte von vorn herein ehrlich sein. Und Zusatzkosten (Mitgliedschaft) nicht im letzten Kleingedruckten verstecken.
