Urbanhof

We spent 9 nights at the Urbanhof over Christmas and New Year 2021-22. Firstly, the hotel itself: modern, well-equipped, very clean, very comfortable, well set out, good-sized rooms, and fantastic showers! The breakfast is very, very good - abundant, and with lots of variety for all tastes. I didn't use the sauna myself, but had a look around and it was very impressive. The hotel is only 3-4 minutes' walk from the Gaislachoglbahn, which opens up the whole ski area. We rented skis from Sport4You - service was excellent, and of course you can store your gear there so the short walk to/from the hotel is in comfy footwear. Also there are plenty of eating options, also within a few minutes' walk. There was no "proper" après-ski due to COVID restrictions, but there was still plenty of fun to be had, everyone was super-friendly. Most important of all was Marion. From before we arrived, she was extremely helpful and responded to all our queries rapidly, efficiently, and with great charm -however daft the query might be! She helped us to find out the latest restrictions (including whether we would actually be able to travel to Austria!) when they seemed to be changing almost hourly and the GB and Austrian government websites were of little help. Once we got there, she settled us in beautifully. She recommended great places to eat and drink, and even booked them for us! She found a ski guide for our son, helped us to get all our pre-travel tests done and then certified them (she is licensed to do this). Nothing was too much trouble, and she was genuinely the exemplary host. She probably got tired of hearing us saying "thank you", because we had so much occasion to do so! All in all, absolutely nothing to fault, and we would love to go back and stay at Urbanhof again. Many thanks to Marion and her team for a wonderful experience.

Perfekte Basis um Sölden und die Umgebung unsicher zu machen. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr neu und großzügig geschnitten. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Wellnessbereich ist mehr als ausreichend groß für ein so kleines Hotel. Zum wiederholten hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren eine Woche zum Skifahren hier, es super entspannt. Die Zimmer sind super schön und sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker und es ist für jeden was da. Auch vegane Alternativen. Die Pension liegt etwas abgelegen und nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße, was aber super schön ist, da man sein Ruhe hat. Zum Lift ist es dennoch nicht weit. Die Besitzerin ist super nett und lustig und erfühlt jeglichen Wunsch. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mega! Der Wellnessbereich ist auch super schön angelegt und mit zwei verschiedenen Saunen nach dem Skifahren super entspannt.
