Beautiful boutique hotel. Except make sure you carty your physical debit card. Cash only in many stores. Contactless debit not possible with foreign debit cards.

We loved staying in this hotel in Gengenbach. Service is excellent. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The room was a decent size with all amenities for tea and coffee. They have a great breakfast and even offer a small lunch for free. We didn’t use the pool and spa facilities but they are available. It has a lovely restaurant sitting area outside to have all meals in summer. The AC worked well in our room and we looked out into a lovely view of the mountains. The only con was the shower. The floor becomes very wet as there is no threshold and for a four star I expected more shower amenities.

Such a fantastic hotel, the friendly welcome, complimentary drink on arrival, location and super rooms. The facilities are wonderful and the outside gardens so peaceful. Every staff member is invested in ensuring that guests are well looked after and go out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast is the most fantastic we have ever experienced and we can't wait to return.

Tolle Lage mitten in der Altstatt. Der Spa-Bereich, die Pools und der kleine Garten bilden hier eine Insel der Ruhe. Tolles Design mit einem gelungenen Mix aus modern und alt! Fachwerk trifft Beton… beide Restaurants bieten hervorragendes Essen, das Personal ist hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Alles in allem eine Tolle Atmosphäre! Für mich besonders wichtig: auch als Alleinreisender mit einem relativ großen Hund ist man hier willkommen! Die Einschränkungen bleiben auf das notwendigste reduziert, nämlich dort, wo der Hund nun wirklich nichts verloren hat wie zum Beispiel am Buffet am Pool oder im Spa-Bereich. vielen Dank für fünf tolle und erholsame Tage. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir gehen sehr gerne in dieses erstklassig geführte Privathotel. Die Zimmer und Betten sind sehr schön. Teilweise etwas dunkel mit nur einem Fenster. Das Restaurant und der Service ist ein absolutes Highlight. Die vielen Azubis und die anderen MA im Hotel sind erstklassig motiviert und extrem freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstück ist jedes Mal ein ganz großer Genuss. Alles regional und ohne Verpackungen. Saft-und Gemüsepressen. Beste Backwaren. Feinste Wurst und Käse aus der Region. Viel erstklassige Teesorten. Sehr guter Kaffee. Für die Gäste gibt es am Nachmittag noch einen leckeren kostenlosen Snack. Ganz kleiner Kritikpunkt- die „Energiepauschale“, die man bei der Abreise präsentiert bekommt mit 2€/Person und Nacht sollte entweder kommuniziert werden oder die Zimmerpreise eben 4€ erhöht werden. So ist das für Spesenabrechnungen und für das Verständnis des Gastes problematisch und einem Haus mit dem Standard nicht würdig

Trotz der Grösse des Betriebes fühlt man sich sehr willkommen und umsorgt. Die Zimmer sind angenehm unkonventionell gestaltet und sauber. Das Personal und der Chef sind sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und unterstützen mit tagesaktuellen Ratschlägen die Planung von Freizeitaktivitäten. Der Spa Bereich verfügt über verschiedene Saunas, die jedoch eher etwas klein ausgefallen sind und einen Aussenpool. Der Erholungsbereich ist grosszügig gestaltet. Das Restaurant ist im eher oberen Preissegment aber sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende in diesem Hotel und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Dieses Hotel spricht Personen an, mit einem Gespür für das Schöne und Feine. Denn ob im Bereich der Kulinarik, 3 integrierte auf höchstem Niveau stehende Restaurants, davon eins mit Guide Michelin Empfehlung. Oder im Berich Wellness mit Naturpool und wunderschön zentral gelegenen Saunen und Ruhebereichen. Es ist ein Kleinod in diesem wunderschönen Dorf. Und nach alle dem zählen in diesem Haus die wichtigen kleinen Details wie der Persönliche Service, oder die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie frische Blumen/Leckereien Boxen zum naschen/Infoblatt am Morgentisch u.v.m. Ein Haus zum ankommen und wohlfühlen! PS: Auch unser Labrador war in diesem Haus sehr willkommen.

Wir waren einige Tage mit unseren Kindern im Gengenbach einquartiert. Hatten das Zimmer NR 10 - und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Garten und die Poolanlage war bei dem schönen Wetter Gold wert. Auch die Sauna haben wir sehr genossen. Klein aber fein und die Ruheräume sehr schön.
