Room is comfortable. Service is excellent. Breakfast is good. Centralised location. But parking is difficult during the day as location near Indian street.

在小印度區域裏面，環境蠻好，店家很熱情很好聊天。
旁邊去娘惹博物館很近，每天的早餐都不重樣很好吃。
就是房間陽光不太好，需要去屋外有天井。

Great location to enjoy Georgetown & Penang area. Exemplary staff who pay attention to details and anticipates needs well. Wi-Fi is there but mostly accessed in the open areas. Room was always refreshed when we returned from activities.

This is a historic mansion that has been tastefully restored without forgetting modern necessities. Take time to ask the helpful staff about the deep history of the mansion and its historical previous owners from many years ago. If you want to be close enough to just about everything in Georgetown without being too close to areas folks from the US might be a bit uncomfortable with, this is the place for you. It still is proximal enough for a real authentic experience.

A beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff. We had generous and comfortable accommodation for a family of six to stay together in one space. The location was perfect to explore historic Georgetown and access some excellent restaurants. We did not want to leave.

Such an amazing hotel!! The staff was very attentive and thoughtful. When we weren’t able to have breakfast on our last day they packed us some to go bags for the plane. The hotel itself is beautiful and historical. Location is great- easily walkable to all the main attractions. They also have amazing air conditioning which was very important in the Malaysian heat! I could not recommend staying here more!

We had a fantastic time at East Indies mansion. The hotel is absolutely magnificent and very well maintained. The staff is adorable and very helpful (they did everything they could to help us). The situation is ideal. The room was gigantic and very cosy. I would 100% go back there. It totally exceeded our expectations.

Quiet and peaceful place on a busy street. In fact this place is in little India. There are lots of comfy sofas to relax. Ai Tee is extremely friendly and helpful, she will recommend good restaurants and help to make our stay comfortable. Many restaurants and cafes near by, Armenian Street is 15 min walk. There is no TV in the room so better bring own entertainment, and room has no bar fridge or kettle but they are available in the common area.
