Hotele niedaleko Masterland, Germasogeia

First time here as we usually stay with mum who lives in Limassol. I understand this use to be a COVID hub hotel so it’s well known and centrally located in town by many restaurants and clubs close by and opposite a lovely beach. We arrived late 11:45pm and night check in was ok , didn’t give us much info on hotel, wifi etc although the night staff gent was kind to give us some milk (pasteurised) so we could have a cup of tea. We were on the 5th floor, room 518 which was a sort of sea room, although sea/pool facing rooms were far better and what I would call a sea facing room. Our room was east facing. Our room had a double bed, single bed and a little futon which when turned down could be another bed suitable for a child, although the room to move around would be really tight. The room wasn’t overtly big to begin with to be honest. The balcony was an ok size although there was some building work going on to the side of the hotel in the distance, not a lot of noise. The room was equipped with a kettle and hairdryer and mini fridge. If you wanted to use the safe, it’s €3 per day. Shower was a good size, although water pressure was rubbish. Small TV on wall had only 1 British channel in the eve , the rest was German and other languages, no smart channels you could log into. Not a lot of hanging space for clothes but they did have a 3 prong plugs everywhere so you didn’t have to worry about adapters. It was cleaned to a good standard. You have to put your toilet paper in bins and not down the loo which I didn’t like at all especially in the heat. We had some issues with balcony doors not closing and some lights in the room having blown out and maintenance sorted it out within, I kid you not, within 3 mins. Unfortunately, the balcony door was still faulty when we left. Breakfast was fine, loads of seats and plenty to eat to suit all tastes. Pool wasn’t big, but there was plenty of sun beds and you were literally opposite the sea. Loads of kids when we were here dive bombing and making lots of noise which was irritating. Pool bar and restaurant was ok to be fair and moderately priced. Most staff were very polite and helpful apart from Christalla on reception who was quite rude to us when we enquired about extending our stay, it’s the first time ever that a hotel has never tried to help as we had a late flight home and also when we tried organising a taxi home for my 90 yr old mother last night, I was told to wait in reception and I tried to explain that my mother was at the top which fell on deaf ears. We ended up having to use the gyms shower cubicle which actually is on a timed light so halfway through my shower I was left in complete darkness and had to scramble trying to find the sink to wave to get the light to come back on. Secondly I was concerned that when I asked for the key for the holding room for luggage I was told by the man who was on duty with Christalla on the day we were leaving that they don’t lock the luggage door

The breakfast is good, and the hotel is clean! I highly recommend others to stay here, and the sea view is also beautiful~It is Suitable for couples or business person to come!

Apart from the absence of parking space everything was fine inside the hotel : cleanliness, customer service, great breakfast... The only negative was a bad experience my wife had at the hotel's Hair salon: very bad treatment from the salon guy! Unacceptable!

Arrived home yesterday from Cyprus with my family. Myself and 12 others of my family members stayed at this hotel for our first family holiday in years. It was a holiday to remember. This hotel was fantastic and loved by all. From the lovely staff, to the amazing choices of food and drinks, and the overall atmosphere! The food in particular was fantastic, lots of choices and the majority cooked fresh in front of you! My boyfriend is quite a fussy eater and he felt comfortable enough each morning/night to ask for his food to be customised to meet his needs and this was never an issue. The entertainment each evening was really enjoyable, and there was a good range to meet the needs of different ages, keeping everyone entertained! We especially loved Sean Lynch, made lots of great memories the nights he was on. In terms of location, there’s a shop on the resort and one facing for anything immediate. However just a short walk down the road there’s plently of supermarkets which we particularly enjoyed walking down too. Plenty of stops for souvenirs etc.. There’s not much to do directly outside of the hotel, but just a short bus ride away is the old town, and the marina (which offers a catamaran if you book this trip through Tui. It was fantastic) , and lots more. We were really happy with the reception staff as they were always more than happy to help locate bus stops, or call a taxi if needs be. Rooms : My boyfriend & I were both very pleased with our room. The aircon was fantastic, we could sleep comfortably at night despite the high temperatures outside! The room was very clean, the cleaners are just outstanding. Fresh towels daily, fresh bedding and the room always smelled so clean and fresh when getting in after a long day in the sun. The balcony is quite small, however this wasn’t an issue at all. It was clean and had a table and chairs with a lovely view, that’s all that mattered to us. The one downside was the sun bed situation which has been mentioned quite a few times on other reviews. However with there being a lot of us we each shared the responsibility. There is a lovely guy around the main pool area who collects the cups. He was super friendly and kept the main pool area so clean and tidy. Always a smile on his face☺️ Overall, fantastic stay! Loved each and every minute!!

My partner and I have just returned from a two week stay. The Check-In was quick and easy the manager was polite and pleasant he explained that due to Covid restricts there was no buffet but we could have unlimited plates of food all we had to do was ask. It’s a shame this wasn’t relayed to his staff as when we requested more food (the dinner portions were small) the lady serving us Anna was somewhat rude telling us she would charge our room even though we had paid for half board and told us we couldn’t have anymore food because they have other guests to feed! When I requested some water with our meal she gave me tap water bearing in mind there was a water dispenser of fresh mineral water! Anna seemed to lack professionalism and had a general disregard for the guests especially when I slipped over in the reception area because the floor was wet I cut my hands and arms she didn’t do anything to help me and couldn’t care less that I was needing first aid. The manager did speak to me about Anna and apologised about how she behaved but the damage was already done it’s a shame because she did put a downer on our stay Breakfast was always the same food everyday which by the end of our 2 week stay we were really bored of! we were served most days by Mr Antonio who was always polite and would check on us if we needed anymore he was the most loveliest member of staff. The hotel in general is quite dated and approx 30 mins walk from the city centre, we did get a bus pass which we used everyday as there is nothing to do in the area of the hotel. We used the pool everyday in the afternoon after we had been out for the day. On our final day we decided we would spend the day around the pool, beware lots of locals come along at the weekends and take advantage of the free pool all they have to do is buy a drink to get to use the pool this is a shame because it takes away exclusivity for the actual hotel guests. Another point to note is they advertise that they have 2 pools one indoor and one outdoor plus a sauna I was told they only have the outdoor pool maybe you need to update the information about your hotel on your website.

I really liked the hotel and staff for my visit this year. Yes minor faults in the room, but this is a 3-star hotel, so did not expect a flawless experience. The staff was always friendly and helpful, I was mainly there for warmer weather and ankle rehab via the pool onsite, which I might add was great. The O'Brian bar staff are busy at times and that can delay service, but it's not meant to be busy like a UK pub. The room was acceptable with a balcony view of a new build called the Trilogy, so although they started work at 6.30 am the double-glazed door kept a vast amount of the noise out. The best balcony experience would be poolside as this captures the sun for most of the day, and 1st floor has an extended balcony with a table and a sun umbrella. The reception also has a supply of towels for the pool, so you do not have to take the towels out of your room. Checking in and out was great, and they have a spare area for luggage to be kept after checking out so you can still explore the area before your taxi arrives back at the airport. I shall look forward to returning to this hotel, based on the service and the prices.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very nice and very fresh, all in all great value for the money , the rooms are big and bright with a lovely view of the pool and the sea

Excellent Boutique hotel. Highlights Very warm check in at reception, included a refreshing drink Staff we so nice, very polite and always asking how my stay was and everything was ok. I would say they were an excellent asset to the hotel Food amazing, great value, did not have anything that i did not like All areas are very clean and well maintained For a small establishment there are many spots you can sit, relax and enjoy. Cleaning ladies do a great job, daily cleaning with turn down service in the evenings. They set up a wide screen TV for football lover Breakfast buffet could not fault it, caters for everyone. Finally i have to mention the Potato fries, home made and best i have tasted. Low lights None. Would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families, little gem of a place and i will try and bring my family next time i visit.

Lovely place to stay at, a bit overpriced but overall we had a wonderful experience. Lost a few points on the several delays we had. Both from room service and team. The main manager gifted us a lovely bouquet though and made us feel warm. The manager at Locatelli, Mario, his team, and Chief gave us the best experience ever!!! We have returned several times to eat there and they took care of us every single time. Preparing amazing vegan/vegetarian food and Apu, our waiter, ensured that everything was amazing. The spa facilities are unique, we enjoyed all areas and the salt pool but the massage was so-so, for the price we payed. The breakfast area was very loud, waiters were arguing and it was very noisy. The constant music blasting everywhere was also not aligned with the serenity that this place aims to create. We were on the top floors and we could still hear the pool music until late hours. We will return back to Locatelli for sure. As far as staying there..we might give it another try.

Nice hotel, great location, spacious and clean rooms. There are questions about serving food in the restaurant, and the buffet is not very varied. I would not recommend taking full meals other than breakfast. Spa zone great also
