This hotel is situated in an area that cars are allowed only under special circumastances. So this makes it a clean and sound proof place to stay. I stayed at the right part of the complex and my room was very spacious. Special thanks to the hidden gem of the hotel, lovely An, at the reception, who was very responsible and willing to help. Generally the personnel was lovely, as well as the breakfast that had everythng.

Beautiful building in a great location and well converted. Spotlessly clean. We had a large family room overlooking the canal with two bathrooms. Spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was fantastic. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel.

Brand new, very spacious and well designed rooms. All in-room facilities were great, as was the location. Yummy breakfast. We stayed in a Dalton Double room so no river views but still had a tiny balcony overlooking an internal courtyard. The centralised light control system was a bit difficult to use in the dark. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Lovely Hotel about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ghent but in an extremely peaceful area with the canal running alongside. Interior of hotel faultless with extremely comfortable beds, Coffee and Tea making, Fridge and Safe. Didn't use the breakfast facilities as was just one set price which was more than we needed, but used the bar in the evening. Staff in Reception very helpful, and all could not do enough to help, from giving advice and directions to ringing Taxis, and booking Restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Great location for this stylish art focussed hotel. Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, well equipped and decorated with comic artwork (the clue's in the name). The staff are friendly and helpful and gave lots of useful information about the city. Breakfast is excellent.

This quirky and unique hotel is situated a short walk from the historic centre of Ghent. The rooms are decorated with cartoon images. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, offering a map and suggesting restaurants to dine at. For breakfast you could order freshly cooked waffles and omelets. Definitely recommend this hotel.

A fabulous hotel in the perfect setting by the canal and an easy 5 minute walk into the historic centre of Ghent with all its attractions. Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The comic art throughout the hotel really adds to the experience and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to Comic Art Hotel, next time in Ghent.

Such a friendly welcome at the Comic Arts hotel, great peaceful location just 5 mins walk from the centre of the old town. Little bit of noise from people out on a Saturday night on the street but nothing earlier plugs couldn't sort out. Would recommend the breakfast as it sets you up for the day (good omelette or waffle option) and I couldn't see any other breakfast options nearby the hotel
