Stay at good make a good experience good breakfast good staff nice building .near to the city center housekeeping are really good also hotel manager Mr Houssine he was help us to assist for city tour if you are stay in Mansion I really recommend.

We had bed bugs in our bed!!! We left immediately to another hotel and got our money back only 2 months later after having to call and email 20 times. Very bad communication and customer unfriendly! it was not clean in the hall, our feet stuck to the floor. TV did not work.

DIT IS GEEN HOTEL!!! Misschien kun je het een slaapplaats noemen, meer is het niet! Geen ontvangst? wel een schoonmaakster aanwezig die ons erop wees dat je een code moest hebben voor binnenkomst. Na wat heen en weer geappt eindelijk een code mogen ontvangen. Kom je binnen in een bouwval. Donker en weinig attractief! Slaapkamer viel gelukkig mee. redelijk schoon en goed bed. Beloofd ontbijt was er niet? Dit moest voor 10 uur ( in het weekend?) maar ja recensies wezen ns erop dat dit niet echt smakelijk was. Koffieappaat werkte niet en ontbijtzxaal was meer een donker verblijf met terras stoeltjes. Vlug wegwezewn hier!

We arrived here on the 8th October. having booked the duplex room. the ladder to the raised bed area had no handrail, and only part of the raised area had a barrier, which we did not feel was safe. The sofa bed and armchair in the lower area were stained. We *****ped the bed and opened the sofa bed, intending to make that up to sleep on. The sofa bed was full of bed bugs, with blood stains visible on the mattress. We WhatsApped the manager who offered us a refund, but still want to charge us for the first night as they did't rebook the room that night. THEY WERE HAPPY TO IMMEDIATEDLY REBOOK THE ROOM KNOWING IT HAD BED BUGS. Luckily we didn't unpack our cases and managed to book into the Novotel instead, who were great.

Worst hote experience of my life! Room was literally full of bed bugs, like a colony. Bugs were everywhere; bed, floor and walls! Of course we didn’t sleep all night, trying to protect ourselves from these vampire bugs sucking our blood! Hotel didn’t even refund us, while keep replying to our requests that refund is done from their side. We are still struggling back at home with the bugs, cause they were transferred in our luggage…

Loved this hotel. Quiet location yet only 10 minutes walk from heart of Gent. The contact-free concept works for me.. the roaming concierge was super helpful whenever we made contact. Parking a short walk away was easy to access and had we needed it trams run not far away. Love the respect that has been paid to an historic building, especially on lower floors where history oozes from the stunning preserved decoration and structural elements of the hotel and The Pizza Café. Our room (an attic duplex) had beams and restricted headroom in places but this added to the charm. Ancient beams are exposed and a modern pod has been placed in centre with bathroom facilities enclosed and a sleep deck above. Both areas had plenty of space and great views from Velux windows over the roofs toward the centre of the city. Air-conditioning was super effective.

My first stay in a self-hosting hotel ( no reception) and I can say this experience exceeded my expectations! On line digital access code will be provided to enter your room ( no key ) , a great location and a 5 minutes walk to the city center , room are comfortable and spacious. At the entrance you will found a cosy living room and they have the best pizza in town . Staff are friendly,helpful and attentive.

The room is clean and neat. The bathroom is quite nice and is behind the bed. They offer you breakfast with a good food. But the only one problem here is nobody answers your questions in the chat system when you have a problem.

A good place for family and couple to stay and chill the weekend . My bae was super enjoyed after saw that the interior. The room is super clean, and he's amazed because the food is so delicious . I would definitely stay here again.
