This a tired hotel that has not seen money spent on it for some time, or so it seems. The approach to the car park has a very poorly maintained section that will damage suspension and us shared with a KFC and a McDonald’s and so there is a lot of poor parking nearby.The car park is free but requires you to input the registration on a tablet on arrival, this includes any visitor who might only be dropping you off. There is no lift. On arrival the room was ready but had a curtain that didn’t work, had two bags of bedding under the bed one of which was ripped with bedding spilling on the floor. The bathroom was in need of some paint. Despite being a couple there was only one hand towel and one bath towel so this involved a trek back to reception for another of each. There is a single drawer on the hanging space that had not seen a duster in some time so had to be wiped before it could be used. There was double glazing but the area between the secondary glazing and primary was dirty. This all seems to stem from the company policy of penny pinching as exampled by rooms only cleaned on request and even then only one fresh towel provided. Staff were good if stressed by the company’s policy. There is no decaf tea - again company policy.

Stayed with my family, restaurant was quiet but staff were very friendly and looked after us well. Im assuming it was quiet due to christmas and new year. Room was nice and clean, we also asked to get it cleaned which the staff did very quickly. Will definetly visit again.

Stopped here for 3 nights over Christmas period. Have stayed in many premier inn's across the country and use them for a reason. Rooms are always clean, beds comfy and staff helpful and friendly. This hotel is close to glasgow for easy access.

Stayed here to visit family.Great location for the motorway and trip in to Glasgow whilst we were there too.Great value for money and a comfy stay.Rooms the usual high standard of cleanliness.Also staff were friendly and helpful.Will use again

Stayed here for work, cheap and cheerful. Exactly what I expected as a common traveler going to different premier inns over Scotland. It’s a bit dated but the room was comfy. Didn’t dine here as I’m a lover of Costa so across the road was more suitable for me!

Is this the worst Premier Inn in the country? Breakfast took so long to arrive we left without eating. Hotel corridor outside room smelt of vomit. Reported. Nothing done. Bar closes at 9.30pm. Arrived at 9.15. Could not relax with a pint. Toilet paper had not been refilled so we ran out. Shower had variable water pressure. Parking good.

Saturday 2nd November at 1.00 am the fire alarm sounded. I am a wheelchair user, nobody checked on my evacuation and no roll call or register was taken to make sure everyone was safe and out of the building. It felt very uncaring and unprofessional. The actual hotel was okay but the distance from the main entrance to the accessible room was ridiculous and several pull doors were encountered making it very difficult
