Steamboat Inn

OMG, i travel a good amount and feel so lucky i ended up staying at this place from Monday through Friday. All the Guest notes i read said other travelers had wished they had stayed longer. While i too wouldve gladly stayed longer, it was perfect. Such beautiful grounds and that river. Exquisite nature everywhere. And the food and hospitality at the Inn are unmatched. The servers and Jesse were so sweet and helpful and accommodating. I loved the chili and the pinot noir plus the flavored cider drinks. After lunch, i would go down to the river, find a shady spot in rocks and read my book. Amazing. No wifi in cabins (only at restaurant) was helpful to truly unwind. I made a fire in fireplace every night and every morning. Very private. Loved the soak bath as well as the rocking chair. Good ac and heat. Not a thing i did not like. The area is so darn beautiful but i repeat myself. I would go back in a flash! Gladly. Thank you for the lovely memories, Steamboat. Ana

The Maple Ridge Suite was the perfect, relaxing getaway. The porch overlooking the river was beautiful and very private. We enjoyed the fall colors and left the window open to enjoy the sound of the river. The room had all the amenities we could have asked for - great water pressure, a small fridge, an array of nice scented toiletries - but also had a few extra items such as a cozy throw blanket and a bottle of local Oregon wine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The nearby restaurant was convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and we will certainly be returning!

Place with excellent! We had cabin one on the river and waking up in the morning the cup of coffee listening was beautiful. The food was excellent and the beds were comfortable. I can't say enough about this place we will definitely be back

The Steamboat Inn is an amazing place to stay the North Umpqua River. The staff is amazing and the restaurant is superior. Our room was great with a shared deck overlooking the N. Umpqua River. The room is quaint and wall cared for. It is clean with lots of storage and a comfortable bed and great shower. This is a destination stay as you are on an isolated section of the river. There is fishing, great hiking, waterfalls and if you like solitude. We loved our stay here and will return.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! All the little things are taken into account and thought out. We enjoyed spending two nights there

We stayed at the Steamboat Inn for our wedding weekend, and the Inn hosted our dinner reception and dancing! It was the best, most special weekend thanks to the beautiful grounds, cozy cottages, gorgeous views, incredibly thoughtful and friendly staff, and a team who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We are SO excited to return for future stays and anniversaries. Thank you, Steamboat Inn!!

Phenomenal service from front desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping and even gardener who stopped to talk about his plant selection - picturesque patio area. Well appointed rustic Cabin with deck overlooking North Umpqua River a prime Steelhead fishery. Remote quiet location but easily accessible to water falls, lakes, hiking trails, prime fishing and major Oregon towns. Steamboat Inn and locale also has a rich and interesting history.

We rented a small cabin that accepts dogs, but decided not to take him because the weather was so warm and we planned on a lot of hiking. The cabin was perfect.! Small fridge, two burner stove, coffee pot, what else could you ask for barbecue on the deck ? Comfortable bed? Peace and quiet and privacy? 100% yes, what is the restaurant good?! A+ in service! Love the food!

The rooms were surprisingly comfortable and beds were certainly very large. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of space between each cabin. It is a very quiet place. There were many opportunities to walk among the many trails nearby.
