This hotel was a last minute change due to change in circumstances so we weren’t sure what to expect. I’m well travelled and have never been anywhere where the owners are so friendly, kind & helpful nothing is to much trouble and if they can help they will they really are a lovely family & work very hard to ensure your comfortable & have everything you need. The cleaner is such a lovely lady she works so hard everywhere is spotless. Our room was cleaned everyday & bedding changed twice during our 8 day stay. The rooms are exactly what you see on the pictures yes they are very basic but it’s clean & comfortable it’s a very quiet & chilled atmosphere. We hired a car it was a great base to go and explore the island. Locally there are plenty of lovely restaurants we had so many lovely meals. The owners and staff are what make this a lovely place to stay.

We stayed here 4 nights as a family of 3. 2 adults and a baby. Our room was up a lot of steps which was inconvenient with a baby but Gouvia on general is not pram friendly. The apartment was nice and clean and it probably would have been a 4 or 5 star rating until our final morning. I was totally horrified at people being allowed to smoke at breakfast. Breakfast is served under a roof and to allow people to smoke around food in an enclosed space is totally unacceptable. I get it that its more culturally acceptable to smoke here but I thought that was completely disgusting. Who really wants to be passive smoking over their breakfast never mind having their baby breathe it in?! While it was handy to get to the town and beach We would not stay here again because of this.

The worst experience we ever had in Greece! From the first moment we have arrived the hotel manager stalked us to force a move to another hotel. He was waiting a large group of young adults and he was very concerned about the risk of us calling him at night in case the larger group will make noise. I quote:”you need to move! I need to sleep at night! I don’t want you to call me” I must mention that he didn’t mentioned the name of the new hotel but he told me that will be a downgrade ( no breakfast, older hotel). Please avoid!!

il proprietario ha preso 100 euro dalla caparra per una gamba rotta gia in precedenza e nonostante abbiamo dimostrato che fosse in torto non ci ha restituito i soldi. Il posto è in una posizione molto scomoda se non siete dotati di mezzo autonomo

Ένα εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο στα Γουβιά. Σχετικά νέα κατασκευή. Αρκετά καθαρό με πολύ ευρύχωρα δωμάτια. Ζεστό νερό όλο το 24ωρο & καθαριότητα του δωματίου σχεδόν καθημερινά . Το Wi-Fi δυστυχώς ανύπαρκτο στο δωμάτιο μας. Ικανοποιητικό πρωινό και πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό.
