Marietta's Resort by Konnect, Gouvia Corfu

The room was satisfactory enough, super minimum and quite baren a bit depressing decor or not existant decor. A Warning about the mosquitos would have been appreciated we got eaten alive. The most super annoying thing was in two weeks we got 1 and half rolls of toilet paper in two weeks. Housekeeping was every 3 days. There was no tv. one plug besides the fridge and hotplate for charging your electronics. Most of the lights didnt work. The Shower was big enough for a small child, no drawers for storage, at night quite some noise from the pool area. The price of drinks by the pool and also the restaurtant eye watering sky high prices, the plane going there was cheaper, well actually the airport in amsterdam was also cheaper. It is not a 3 star hotel if there is no plugs or tv or lights or sub sub standard housekeeping. It is 2 star. The gardens around was quite nice, and the location was handy for buses. Thats is the nicest thing i can say. --

Staying nearby we visited the restaurant for lunch. Delicious souvlaki and gyros, amazing cocktails and very friendly service. Family fun resort where everyone is given a warm welcome. Spotlessly clean too.

Unfortunately everything started on the wrong step during my stay at this property. After reaching the hotel, around 19pm, my wife, my 2,5-year daughter and my mom they put us to wait around 20 minutes to check in while the lady responsible for it was serving other guests on the terrace. I went 2 times to ask her if something was wrong, and she told me that I should wait because that was not a hotel, but their business is just renting apar**ents, which was really hard for me to understand since the name of this property is Mariettas RESORT. Before checking IN, the responsible lady told me that everything should be fine in the apar**ent, but they didn't manage to renovate the kitchen. Of course, it was a trick to give me another apar**ent, not like the one I booked, and it's shown in the property pictures. After a few minutes, I went to talk to her again and to ask about how we don t have even a coffee machine in the apar**ent as it was shown in the screenshots of the apar**ent I booked, and her reply was:' The other apar**ent is booked now, so if you have any complains, please call ******* so they could find you another property, which of course I did. All this time, the responsible lady addressed me with: 'My friend', which I didn't find really nice.

I love a family run hotel and restaurant. It felt like we were part of the family! Accommodations clean and comfortable but the food was Amazing! Dine, swim, sleep, and dine again!

The 2 bedroom apar**ent we had is very nice! We shall return.

Six of us visited the restaurant twice. Once for lunch followed by an evening meal. Marietta and her parents run the resort and restaurant. The meals are all freshly made and were the best we had for the whole holiday. We would all visit again if we were in the area. We had chance to view one of the apar**ents before we left. Again the quality was outstanding and we are considering booking a holiday here.

We had a wonderful time in every respect. Marietta and her family are incredibly warm and very concerned about the well-being of their guests. The breakfast and anyway the food are fantastic. The resort is great with the pool and especially suitable for families with children. Absolutely recommendable and we would love to come back.

Marietta's Resort is a beautiful, quiet place that was perfect for my stay! My room was lovely, clean, and a plus was the kitchen. The property is nicely located close to town, but tucked away from any traffic so it was very quiet at night. The pool was the nicest pool I've ever swam in! Marietta was so accommodating and helpful! I needed a taxi to the port and she graciously offered to drive me. If you want the perfect Mediterranean escape, this is the place for you! I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be recommending to anyone staying in Corfu!!

lovely complex with a large pool with plenty of loungers. 10 minute walk from Gouvia and the beach. Small restaurant and bar which served really good home cooked Greek food and snacks and a reasonably priced well stocked bar and soft drinks. would recommend Greek nights on Friday (bit cheesy but really great fun).Marietta and her parents were really great hosts. This resort is very popular with Dutch families which we personally didn't mind and we made some new holiday friends. overall would really recommend Marrietta's.
