Athena Villas by Fine & Country

First time I went there, it was in 2016, and the villa was wonderful then. Had breakfast in the package but in 2022 , not the case anymore. Heated pool was provided for free but now we have to pay or most of the time it is not even available. Sadly it was my favorite place to go for some time off. I wish it would go back to what it was because with time, this should get better and now worse.

We booked a 3-bedroom villa with heated pool at an additional cost. Checkin: There is no reception at this resort or villa. The security guy sits somewhere that's not visible from the gate. It seems that anyone can pass the automated gate system. There was no one to show us the way. We did not know which villa was allocated to us. Finally, after few minutes a lady came by and told us the way but it was not the correct villa allocated. Another lady told us another villa but again wrong villa. After parking into 4 villas car park, we finally got to the correct one. The lady showed us the main areas, however we were not told how to use the keys and where the towels are. (We discovered that we have additional towels in other rooms when we were checking out) Villa- Villa is decently spacious. One hall, bedroom and sit out near the pool. The master bedroom is very huge but the other two are relatively small, but this wasn't a big issue. Pool was not heated despite requesting for it since 2 weeks. We contacted the reception at 10pm but they said that their staff leaves at 8pm and we will have to wait for the next day. We could not enjoyed our paid service. There was a back door which was not closing. After several attempts, we managed to get it closed. On our arrival, the curtains next to the pool fell on the head of two of my friends. But fortunately they were not hurt. The technician for the pool came the next day but said that there is a defect with the pool itself. For a paid service??? Hall and Bedroom was fine. However the bathroom in the master bedroom was not very private. It has another side which can be visible from the corridor, thus no privacy with other guests. Kitchen utensils worked fine. Check-out was quick and easy. The staffs came way before the check out time to verify the villa. It was quite uneasy as we were in our swimwear. Overall stay was pleasing. Loved the small cosy area with plunge pool and bamboo blinds helped from the winds. Only the heated pool ruined the moment. Will surely recommend it for couples.

Mieux que sur les photos. Petite maison sans aucun vis à vis avec emplacement parking à l’entrée du logement. Piscine agréable avec mobilier de jardin et barbecue. Bonne literie.Gardien 24/24 à l’entrée de la résidence qui assure les lieux.Propriétaire très sympathique.Tres bon rapport qualité prix.

A fuir, ils font l’état des lieux de sortie promettant de nous rendre notre empreinte bancaire dans la journée car l’appareil de carte est soit disant en panne (pour prendre l’empreinte il fonctionnait très bien par contre).. cela fait une semaine que nous attendons le remboursement on nous envoie promener à chaque fois ! Dommage de devoir faire appel à la justice pour retrouver notre caution. Ils ne savent que faire encaisser l’argent. Aucune réponse du management, aucune réactivité, très très décevant on y retournera pas c’est clair !

Grosse déception de la dégradation des villas Athenas depuis le Covid ! A notre arrivée plus de cocktails et de fruits ! la piscine n’était pas nettoyée! Il n’y a plus l’option piscine chauffée. Le petit dej qui était auparavant inclus dans la prestation est à 10€ par pers pour quelques viennoiseries! Nous allons à la boulangerie du complexe Super U qui nous revient à 4 € pour 3 pers ! Une machine à laver qui ne fonctionne pas ! Une fidélité qui a été préservée de 2013 à ce jour mais qui s’arrête aujourd’hui ! Nous regrettons notre choix de ce jour d’ailleurs nous y sommes toujours . Nous aurions dû choisir mythic ressort villas dont le devis était plus intéressant et le complexe plus récent ! Evacco ! Déçu de l’accueil du changement dans les prestations, de la dégradation du complexe, de l’inhospitalite des gérants, je vous recommande vivement de voir ailleurs avec un pincement au cœur car 9 ans de fidélité pas reconnu ou le client n’est plus roi comme autrefois ! Je trouve cela fort dommage ! Plus que quelques jours et ce sera un adieu à ce lieu qui nous avait accueilli qui ont vu grandir nos enfants que nous avons chéri comme notre chez nous ! C’est avec beaucoup de regret et d’amertume que je vous fait part de notre déception ! Belle journée à vous ! Prenez soin de vous !
