Mint House Greenville - Downtown

The parking situation stinks. 2-hour parking in front of building then have to find a parking garage blocks away to park overnight. The private lot next door finally allowed me to park overnight for $10.

Check-in really wasn't difficult you just have to do the steps in advance. The location was amazing, the view was beautiful, we had a balcony that had a perfect view of the sunset. Parking wasnt an issue for us, parking is free after 6 so we parked and moved the car in the morning after the 2 hour parking was enforced again. The customer service was amazing, our flight was delayed and they contacted us concerned even since we didnt check in. We werent sure if we were even going to make it with the mess that was American Airlines and they offered to work with us on rescheduling. We did make it and I did not regret it. Clean property, comfortable bed, full kitchen, it didnt feel like we were living out of a suitcase like in a hotel. Will definitely be staying at their properties again!

Weird. It feels fancy. Our room had like some hidden room which we expected to be a janitorial station.. cuz it was locked off. When we got back to our room. Those doors were unlocked. Revealing another room. Sketched us out pretty hard. Plus signing in was bad and hold fee is terrible. Grounds and place is nice but.. yeh

Safe & Excellent Location right downtown! Simple Modern Furnishings, Everything you need to explore right outside your door. Even city e-bikes. Stay in and cook or just choose from the many restaurants. No worries about Parking it’s a short walk only $7 overnight and you can drop off what you can’t carry there is a luggage cart when you walk through the doors. The Mint has affordable fresh grocery delivery online that can be purchased and delivered before you arrive. We enjoyed and will choose The Mint again!

Onsite parking would be nice, but $7 all day parking in a public garage is only a block away. Unit was clean ans spacious. Greatly enjoyed our stay here!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay for the holidays! We rented two apartments for a 3 day stay. Very clean snd quiet! We will definitely utilize The Mint House again!

Great clean spot for the holidays. Really enjoyed the ease of check in and the surrounding area. Great location in downtown Greenville. Will definitely be back!!

Unit 4A -The heating system in the apartment is not good. Otherwise I would have rated this stay higher. First of all, someone set the AC to 66 degrees before we arrived there and the temperature outside was in the 30s. The thermostat is behind the TV and it is hard to read the screen which does not light up. I thought something was wrong with the heat so I called support. They eventually got someone to check it and change it back to heat. There should be a guide on how to use the thermostat. Once the heat was back on, I set it to 76. It literally took 36 hours after this time for the temperature to reach 76. The bedroom was at least 7 degrees colder than the living room where the thermostat was located. All the vents are at the top of the ceiling. This is not effective for heat. Who built this place? Not having the temperature comfortable for most of your stay is a big no no in my book. We were freezing the first evening and night because the heat was working so slowly. Not fun.

We were surprised by the check in process. There wasn’t any staff at the desk for our check in (around 8:00 pm); with some help from other guests, we figured out to check my junk email for virtual check-in instructions. Completing this process involved scanning my driver’s license and submitting a “selfie” for a background check. To check into a hotel! After waiting for the results of the background check, we called the company to get more information. We were eventually allowed in, but the follow up email we received mentioned that there was no onsite parking available. One of the paid lots they recommended did not allow overnight parking, so we ended up making our own offsite arrangements. Once this debacle was over, the room was fine. Simple furnishings and decently clean. I would only recommend the Mint Houses for someone who has a pre-existing membership into their background check program and/or someone staying for several nights with no car to park.
