Sandals Dunns River All Inclusive Couples Only

For being a Sandals I was severely disappointed. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and the roof was falling in the bathroom. I informed the front desk on 3 separate occasions and they only told me they were looking into it. Not once did they offer to relocate us or let us know they were fixing it. They just let the ceiling continue to get worse.

Our vacation at Sandals, Dunn’s River was outstanding. We were really impressed with the design of the resort: from building locations to restaurants and bars and room setup. Their 24-hour warmed light-up main pool is amazing, we spent countless hours there, especially in the evening/night hours. The bar by the pool is open till midnight, which makes it even more welcoming and relaxing setup. The choice of restaurants is just perfect: Italian, French, Greek, Asian, Sushi, etc. – all presented high quality food and service. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and lounge bar – perfect locations for evening relaxation and chats. Daily entertainment was at a high professional level. The only little annoyance was the fact that the stage was too small and was not well-visible from seats a little farther than the first couple of rows. In general, we had very positive experience, would rate it 10 out of 10.

We have been Sandals Members since 2002 and have visited numerous resorts but we are just leaving Sandals Dunns River Falls today 11/2/2024 and must say it was one of the best experiences. We are traveling with friends and we all agree the resort, staff, service and food were all incredible! Our Club level rooms were incredible and so comfortable. The management must be incredible. Every worker was pleasant and seemed so happy to be there. Everyone from gardeners to photographers were so friendly. I would like to recognize a small few but certainly not all of the great staff we experienced…. We will revisit soon as well as Curacao another one of our true favorites!

We have stayed over 100 nights at a Sandals or Beaches resort in the past 8 years. We wanted to try the new Sandals 2.0 Dunns River. The resort is beautiful. Everything is new and clean. The new restaurants were good and offered different choices of food. The Ox Tail sliders are a must try. It was a joy to meet the resort Manager, Melissa at the returning guest dinner and Diamond luncheon. We had fun getting to know her. She runs a tight ship and everything was great. We stayed in the SKYV Rondoval room. The room was beautiful and loved the swim up area. We enjoyed a beautiful anniversary dinner on our rooftop setup and served by our two wonderful butlers - Vivian and Romeo. They made us feel special the whole 10 days we were there. The staff was more friendly than any other resort. They were always speaking to us and checking in on us making sure we didn’t need anything. We are divers and the dive team (Mike, Javai, McKnight and Captain Bryan) was top notch! We had a blast with them. Highly recommend booking a vacation!

The Trip sandals started out a little rocky at first from the initial team my wife and I planned our 20th anniversary and Val renewal at Sandals Dunns River before not everything was taken care of before. We got there with the preplan team. Once we got a property and met our team that was executing all aspects of our 20th anniversary and renewal Javel Douglas was my wedding planner and exceptional, exceptional, exceptional person with a great personality and attention to detail. She took the time to ensure that everything that we needed was there on time set an in place or were acquired to make sure everything run smoothly The rest of the team Christina mighty the wedding planning team manager was exceptional with all her insight and all her input into our event. Shanalee Burrell. Renae Richards, Fitzroy Morris Jevaughn Pusey all were inspirational in making our wedding and our wedding dinner and exceptional event. This team is a plus in my book and I would recommend them to anyone that need a wedding or any type of event at Sandals Dunns River .. For my room, I selected the butler suite which was exceptional room with great view and twin soap, tub one interior one exterior. The room was not the best part of our trip. The best part was our Buttler’s, Dejhanane Plummer and Danisha . Dejhanae Was exceptional with her timely execution and ensuring that all our needs were met, she is overall exceptional. Buttler and I would recommend her anytime to anyone upon my return to Sandals Dunns River . I will recommend her as my Buckler again.. In the gift shop Tashanna was very good with explaining everything for the best rum to cigars and clothing for the weather and all the souvenirs from the shop My time is send is done forever was exceptional along with my 32 guests for my 20th anniversary and Val renewal. This is exceptional place to visit. Again, minister staff from the General manager all the way down to the staff, this was exceptional Trip.

Our second trip to Dunns since they opened last year....I can't say enough......the food was great, O1B room views are fantastic. Although any view of paradise is fabulous. Make sure you go see King at Banyu. Blum coffee shop had the best cheesecake snacks and wonderful hot and cold coffee beverages (with or without a little "spike"). If you have butlers for your stay we hope you have Venice, she is a TRUE CLASS ACT! Other butlers who are just as fantastic are Gareth, Ricardo & Dexter. Lastly, go check out the Red Lane Spa and see Nastasia for a great massage. You can also just go hang out there and use the facilities. The cold plunge pool at spa is soooooo good, just what you need to make you feel extra wonderful. Lastly, if you like grapefruit......try a local soda called Ting (with a little tequila and fresh lime, it's a keeper). Thank you Sandals Dunn River team for the top notch experience. This was a great resort. Very clean, modern, and not spread out too far. You will not have to walk far anywhere on resort. The restaurants were great, always serving good meals and wonderful variety. Awesome workout center and plenty of good outdoor walking through the resort. Entertainment at the resort was spot on. They have great musicians in the morning to get you going and the vocalists were spot on. They have a girl that sings there and she is amazing. Rooms are phenomenal and the staff in housekeeping did great. One place I would recommend stopping by is the scuba shop. Great staff and activities including Hobi Cat, Snorkeling (free), and tubing (free). Added bonus is that you can book a private snorkel and it is the best value Sandals offers. Personal guided snorkel and a guided tour by boat of Ocho Rios. We did take a private car to/from the airport and it was very good with beer and food. Only complaint I had the entire seven days I was there is that the restaurant service was not good. They made up for it in food quality, but the service each evening at the restaurants was terrible. Especially bad at the Italian and Greek restaurants. The staff here is as good as any I have been to.

Sandals Dunn’s River was excellent!!! A+/10 rating. My wife and I went with a large group and the consensus was the same. You won’t be disappointed. The resort was elegant and the grounds were well maintained. The staff is so well trained, welcoming, and accommodating. We were warmly received upon arrival and were spoiled from arrival to departure. We will definitely be returning to this resort in short order.

I must say this resort was more than I expected!! From the minute we walked into our room it was amazing!! We were in the Club Level which by the way was a free upgrade which was a nice surprise!!! Grounds were beautiful and the food was very good!!! Entertainment….Yanai, Conrad, Alesha and Ray….oh my goodness!! Those 4 made sure there was a great time had each time we seen them!!! Yanai gave us so much history and things about Jamaica that was awesome!!! They all deserve a pat on the back!!! The activities are top notch!!! There was something to do everyday!! We took a pottery class, painted bottles, candle making, tie dyed shirts, the return guest dinner just so much!!! I am a travel agent and I can’t wait to send my guest there!!! Well done Sandals!!
