Canberra Short Term & Holiday Accommodation

My partner and I stayed here a couple of weekends ago, when I was visiting from interstate. We arrived to the accommodation at approx 7pm to room 53. We went to use the shower and the water went cold after no less than a few minutes. We tried to get this rectified by calling, to which the owner said it was a small tank and to wait 15 mins between showers, however the water didnt last to begin with. This occurred again the next morning and afternoon, trying to advise on multiple occasions. They came to the room to test the water, to which it was hot initially and they indicated their disbelief that the shower didnt last more than a few mins. we eventually were moved to another room after multiple requests. We requested compensation for the unsatisfactory stay, noting there was also dried blood on the cupboard, and an old soap cake above the shower in room 53. To which an email was received essentially denying both the shower issue and the cleanliness issue, that what i said was not true. As a customer, i didnt appreciate this customer service, and felt as if the Hotel Manager was being dismissive and gaslighting the issue. For the rest of our stay (an additional 2 nights) there were people in the room above us who were loud and disruptive the whole time. We advised the hotel manager, and again, there was no response. Our stay here was horrible and uncomfortable, and the customer service was below average. I do not recommend staying here to anyone.
