The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou

Zarezerwowałem pobyt dla mojej 80-letniej mamy i jej przyjaciółki. Były bardzo niezadowolone z wyposażenia pokoju. W nocy nie dało się włączyć tylko lampki nocnej – albo było zupełnie ciemno, albo świeciło się wszystko. Obsługa przyszła, ale nie była w stanie nic zrobić. Męczyły się z tym ponad dwie godziny, aż do północy! W rezultacie mama całą noc źle spała. W łazience wieszak na ręczniki był umieszczony tak niefortunnie, że przeszkadzał przy umywalce – mama mówiła, że nie mogła się normalnie umyć! Zdecydowanie odradzam!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou. From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional — from the elegant surroundings to the warm and attentive service. The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy a restful night after a long day exploring Guangzhou. What truly stood out was the hospitality. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The service felt personal and thoughtful without ever being intrusive. The hotel’s location is also excellent, making it convenient to explore the city while still providing a peaceful and luxurious retreat. The overall atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, and I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail throughout the hotel. This was definitely one of the highlights of my Guangzhou trip. The combination of beautiful facilities, outstanding service, comfort, and genuine hospitality made my stay truly memorable. I would happily stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Guangzhou. A well-deserved 5/5!

My stay was absolutely fantastic. The room was excellent, the breakfast outstanding, the staff wonderful, and the location convenient. The hotel fully lived up to its well‑earned reputation, and I have no complaints whatsoever. The only minor hiccup was that I had requested two beds, yet was allocated a king‑size bed. Even so, the room remained very pleasant. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Duty Manager Ms. Yanus Fan and Operations Manager Ms. Cindy for their invaluable assistance in recovering my iPad, which I had accidentally left inside the room safe. After I had already arrived in Shenzhen, I realised I had overlooked the device — likely because the iPad’s colour blended in with the safe’s carpet lining and perhaps the safe had no interior light. Upon my notification, Ms. Cindy promptly assigned Ms. Fan to handle the matter. Fortunately, they located my iPad inside the safe in no time. Most impressively, Ms. Fan immediately arranged an urgent courier service to ship the iPad to my hotel in Shenzhen. I am particularly thankful for Ms. Fan’s professionalism, proactive approach and genuine customer‑centred care. Without hesitation, I will definitely return to The Ritz‑Carlton Guangzhou and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

We booked four rooms for families with children. Staff helped to book in same floor for our convenience. All the hotel staffs were very attentive. Evening housekeeping staff was also helpful and friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Ritz- Carlton, Guangzhoun

Though hotel was dated, the overall experience was superb. From checking in process to the entire stay, staff was great in service and ensuring all your needs are attended to. Comfort, amenities and cleanliness was second to none. Location is central, rooms was with the Tower view which was superb. Thank you. o

This is a very good hotel with top-notch services and food. Attentive services are what we find it so impressive!

We were not happy with the arrangement that we had booked 3 rooms but was allocated at different levels of the hotel. We came with my elderly parents which are 80 years old. Everyday we have to travel up and down the hotel to help them with things. Our rooms were between 25th floor and 36 floor. Each time we need to travel to our parents we have to used almost 10 minutes to get to them and back to our room which was very frustrating. This is not the sort of experience I like when I paid a premium price for my stay.

Had a wonderful stay here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed me a late check and also offered me a cake for my birthday.

Ritz would be my first choice when I travel to different countries, have stayed in many Ritz before and this one is definitely not a bad one but also not the best one. Still would recommend staying here though if you're traveling to GZ. Special thanks to all the managers especially Yannis, very friendly and helpful, got some minor incidents with some staff but all the managers helped and solved them effectively.
