Hotel El Guerra

Do not stay at this Hotel, all is not as it is advertised! 1.The swimming pool is full of dirt and not water, also it is in the shade! You will notice there are no photos of it on any website (I have attached one!) Because it is not in use! 2. There is no jacuzzi as advertised, it just isn't there! 3. There is no air hockey table as advertised, it just isn't there! 4. The hotel is dark, very dated, dirty & cold! 5. The food is very poor, big portions of tasteless food. 6. The owner, what can I say? Rude, bossy! Made my 9 year old cry by shouting at him because he was playing with dog! She chooses when she can speak English (my Spanish is very good btw) and when to ignore you! The only positives about this hotel are the views, when you can open the very old delapadated doors! It seems perfect as a quiet stop on the way to other mountanous places but please do yourself a favour and give it a miss and save your money as this is the only thing the owner is interested in. The photos make the place look like an alpine lodge but believe me it is a million miles from being one! A total rip off!!!

Welcoming staff, stunning views, great food, lovely warm comfortable room, only a short drive from the ski slopes. Ski hire available on site. Bathroom has bath, shower, bidet. Would definitely come back

The hotel is perfect located if you have a car and want to go ski. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. BUT the hygiene in the restaurant is really bad. The glasses, forks, knives are dirty and especially the breakfast is bad. The bread is hard and the eggs and bacon etc are ice-cold. So I hope they will improve that. The dinner was nice.

This 2 star family run hotel may only be 2 star in facilites but wow is it 5 star for views and for friendliness and attention of the staff. Also the typical food served on the terrace is wonderful. I asked if they had prawns on the menu but the answer was no. Next day however there were prawns! We hope we’ll be back at the end of the year.

Het hotel is oud en gedateerd. Maar ziet er toch cosy uit. Verwacht ook niks van de fitnessruimte etc. De kamers zijn ook gedateerd, klein en de handdoeken ruiken niet echt lekker fris, maar de douche was lekker en het ontbijt oké. Normaal gesproken prima voor ons. Zouden we niets van zeggen. Echter, de verwarming deed het niet. De 1e dag konden ze dat niet fixen. Dag 2 stond er een klein blowertje dat meer koude lucht dan warme lucht verspreide. Die dag begaf de 2e verwarming het ook. Bij het uitchecken de 3e dag gemeld bij de bazin dat dat wel vervelend was aangezien de skikleding niet kon drogen. Ze deed de zaak in 1e instantie af als, 'waarom heb je een verwarming nodig?'. Ik slaap altijd met het raam open. Wij dus ook, maar nogmaals, het ging over het drogen van de kleding en handschoenen. Dat negeerde ze. Toen zei ze, en trouwens dat kan helemaal niet. Die doen het gewoon. Nou, die deden het niet. Kan niet zei ze. En wat als het niet zo is zei mijn man. Nou, dan krijgt u 50 euro terug. Nou deal. Zo gezegd, wij naar boven om te checken. De verwarmingen deden het dus niet. Wij betaald. Dat moest eerst. Toen gewacht op de 50 euro. Wat staan jullie hier nog? We hadden een deal zeiden we. Begon ze ons uit te lachen. Je denkt toch niet dat ik je 50 euro ga geven. Dat was een grapje. Nou, wij vonden het allesbehalve een grapje. Een bazin die ten eerste eigenlijk al negeert waarom de verwarming überhaupt aan moet en daarna een afspraak als grapje af doet en ons uitlacht. Wat een walgelijk serpent van een bazin! Komt niet na wat is afgesproken en vindt het leuk ook nog. Misselijk makend! Bedriegster! Ben pissed geworden, maar het deed haar niks. Nooit meer komen! Zo iets runt een hotel! Waardeloos!

Veníamos del festival Por todo lo alto en Sierra Nevada, y paramos a comer y a refrescarnos en la piscina. La comida rica, abundante y a un precio razonable. La piscina no es muy grande, pero está en un rincón agradable con mucha sombra. Y es gratuita. El personal nos trató muy bien, así que solo puedo recomendarlo.

Somos una familia que estuvo el verano pasado en este Hotel, quedamos tan satisfechos que hemos vuelto a ir 4 días ahora en agosto de este año. Nos han vuelto a tratar como si fueramos familia, Ester un encanto siempre pendiente de nosotros, hemos estado como en casa, un cariño y una amabilidad increíble, la cocinera todo amor con mis hijos y nosotros. No tengo palabras para agradecer tanto, solo deciros que volveremos en cuanto podamos. Limpieza impecable, cenas espectaculares en cantidad y buenísimo todo, el desayuno genial, las habitaciones grandes y muy limpias con secador, jabón, etc, la piscina fresquita pero se agradece después de hacer una excursión y el jacuzzi en una terraza preciosa. Mil Gracias por todo.

Escapada de cuatro días en julio huyendo de la ola de calor. Hotel confortable, tranquilo en los días laborables, si bien los fines de semana aumenta la afluencia de clientes. Buena limpieza y comodidad de camas y almohadas. Desayuno más que aceptable e incluido en el precio. Excelente atención tanto de la gerencia, Esther, como del personal, Fran entre otros. Amplia carta del restaurante, para todos los gustos. Tiene una piscina para refresc**** en caso necesario. Buena relación calidad/precio. Recomendable.

Horrible. Absolutamente horrible el trato de la dueña. En la cuenta del restaurante te cuelan platos que no has pedido, nos echó de la piscina cuando por teléfono nos había dicho que si comiamos en el restaurante podríamos quedarnos toda la tarde. Una falta de respeto tremenda para mi familia ya que fuimos a celebrar un cumpleaños y nos arruinó el día. No lo recomiendo a nadie!!!
