The five-star Lijiang Waterfall Hotel (Lijiang Fandian) impresses visitors on first sight with its signature waterfall tumbling down over the building's north face. The location is equally impressive, facing Fir Lake and adjacent to Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbi Shan) to the south and Solitary Beauty Peak (Duxiu Feng) to the north. The surrounding gardens and woods are also very nice. A stellar view of the city is found on the balcony on the 13th and 14th floors, but all rooms and suites offer good views of Guilin's spectacularly photogenic scenery.Thirteen restaurants serving both Chinese and Western foods won't disappoint. This hotel got the best view if you book your room face the lake. The location is excellent but the hotel is not new at all. My room got a nice view so I'm happy already.

This is a local 5 star hotel facing the Sun and Moon pagoda and walking distance to the Elephant trunk hill. The hotel is a bit old but still maintain well. Breakfast is excellent .

Nice big hotel in the center, just in front of a lake with 2 Pagoda. Elephant trunk at 600m, Departure for night boat also very clise.

Amazing hotel, I guess it has been renovated recently . The room is magnetic, and the staff can speak English quite well . Swimming pool, jacuzzis (3 of them), sauna and steam room, excellent gym with table tennis 🏓 equipments makes this property and excellent place to stay.
Breakfast was excellent as I am a huge fan of Chinese food, not much of western food, but there are kids station, bread, coffee (good one) , sausage and bacon, and several other options of pastries such as croissants and danish.
Thanks XiaoWu小伍 for the amazing service guiding us around the rooftop, taking pictures of us, and giving assistance providing all the important information on how to enjoy the hotel facilities .
the only bad thing is the costumers , a huge amount of them smoke everywhere although there are signs saying the whole property is forbidden to smoke. The hotel should remove the ashtrays in front of the elevators . Unfortunately it is a problem in China when you go to hotels and makes very unpleasant the shared ventilation bringing smoking smell into other people’s room.
