The hotel has a beautiful location. The antique building has been kept in excellent condition. We chose to stay in the Feature Double Room-old Hall. The room was very spacious, with seating area. A coffee machine was also available. Cool drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious, individually cooked, with a wide choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel

I was visiting a good friend in the area and we decided to eat out at the hall as I’d heard some really good things about the food - it didn’t disappoint! Very generous portion sizes combined with amazing service from friendly staff made for a welcoming and pleasant evening of food, beverages and company. All the above, combined with a walk around and piano playing from Mr Gisborough himself just rounded off the evening wonderfully. Lovely and delicious is the best way to describe the evening, company/staff and food!

Omg the food is just amazing and the staff are brilliant, a special thankyou to zoe and ben for looking after us. The staff really do go above and beyond for there guests. The hotel itself is just beautiful apsolutely loved it will be returning

Another wondeful stay My friend and I, stayed at Gisborough Hall in need of a girlie retreat and wow, we were not disappointed! Karen greeted us at reception, check in was quick and easy. With all the information required. We arrived on a sunny afternoon, so we were able to sit out on the terrace, enjoy a few glasses of wine with the most amazing view. We dined in the De Brus. Which was very relaxing, with the ambience we were hoping for. Our meals were perfect. Clearly fresh and high quality ingredients were used, as the flavours were flawless. Sam looked after us that evening, working in a professional and attentive manner. Our room in the Woodlands wing was spotless, clean and modern. Everything you could hope for. Breakfast the next day was once again, faultless! Everything arrived as we ordered in good time. We were looked after by both Becca and Rhyanna that morning, who were super smiley and happy to help! All the staff we met, were friendly and helpful, taking the time to say hello.

Always good to return to this pleasurable hotel. The staff are outstanding in all departments and its like meeting old friends The dinner menus keep evolving and the food was exceptional (venison loin with venison pie simply amazing). The old hall rooms are Our favourite and for value for money you won't beat a 3 or 5 night staycation.

I really enjoyed my stay at Guisborough Hall Hotel. I was up there on a work trip to Middlesborough. I was planning to have dinner there the 1st night but would have been arriving just after the kitchen had closed. Karen was on reception and she was able to take my order in advance and put it in for me at last orders so I was able to have dinner as soon as I arrived. After driving for 5 hours that was very much appreciated! I arrived back late another night and Jodie was working in the Restuarant. Unfortunately I was too late for dinner and could only order a sandwich but she went out of her way to ensure I had some other snacks and bits to make a meal... again very appreciated. Guisborough Hall has a grand feel to it when you arrive and the room was a good size, with a big comfy bed. Breakfast was really good with plenty of options. Would happily stay there again. Just wish I had a bit more time to explore the local area as there seemed to be some really nice walks in the area. I played a few rounds of Golf nearby at the Wilton Golf Course. It's a welcome surprise compared to London prices! Thank you to all the staff at Guisborough Hall. I will be back!

This is a lovely hotel and the staff are very friendly. It was our first visit and we immediately felt comfortable. There are two food options in the hotel and we enjoyed both. The menus alternate so on a four night stay we were able to eat of both menus. The breakfast was good with a range of cold options followed by a choice from the cooked options. The room was in the woodland wing and didn’t have much of a view being adjacent to the main building, it was clean and well presented with two easy chairs for relaxation. Although the hotel is situated in the country the grounds are not extensive, but there is sufficient space to wander and enjoy the views. The walk to Guisborough takes about 20 mins and there is a good footpath from the main road. The Llamas are an added attraction. A return visit it very likely!

What an amazing stay; a gorgeous hotel in a stunning location, an excellent base for exploring the North Yorkshire Coastline. All the staff were so friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Our beautifully appointed room had fantastic views of the countryside and the bed was super comfy. The food was delicious, from the extensive breakfast menu, to the De Brus Bar & Grill and finally Chaloner's Restaurant, with it's changing menu and excellent wine list. There are lots of places to sit and relax and take in the beautiful surroundings whilst enjoying a cocktail or coffee. We simply couldn't fault this hotel and can't wait to go back.
