Tabist Condominium Hakuba Goryu

hard to imagine a greater contrast between a property and its location. it's situated in an amazingly privileged placement. as far as I can tell it's the only ski-in ski-out accommodation in the area. just strap on your board or skis and you're 30 seconds' glide down to the lift. the only issue about the location is that there are relatively few places in walking distance, and the shuttles stop running early - so be prepared for longish walks or a taxi back from dinner at night. the prime location makes it all the more strange that the property itself is so medicore, like a 2 star hostel. rooms are small and not well kept, with stained carpeting and curtains dangling unevenly from windows. beds are extremely firm, and some bedrooms have no windows. shuto the caretaker is great, but it's crazy that there's only one staff member to manage the whole place, working seven days a week - so it's not surprising that the upkeep isn't great. all in all, this is a pretty decent crashpad for winter sports people given the proximity to the slopes - but if you're looking for comfort, amenities, or anything other than basic accomodations, look elsewhere.

Currently staying six nights here with my family of five. Our apar**ent has amazing view across the slopes of the main ski run and is appointed with everything you need for a happy family holiday in the snow. The ski-in, ski-out position is fantastic, especially for a young family and allows you to maximise the fun. The service is outstanding and delivered by Marcos who is exceptionally kind and customer-focused. We really can’t thank him enough for ensuring that we enjoyed a memorable visit to beautiful Hakuba.

年末年始にスノーボードをする為に利用させていただきました。ホテルから出るとゲレンデが目の前の好立地でした！年末のスノーボードで滑走中に膝を強打し、歩くことも辛くなってしまいホテルで休んで近くの病院を施設のオーナーさんに尋ねたところ、救急外来をしている所を調べてくださりました。また、遠方からバスで来ていた為病院までの足がなく困っていた所、オーナーさんが車での送り迎えをしてくださりました。病院での診察後、翌日も怪我の様子を気にかけてくださりました。とても親切に対応していただいて本当にありがたかったです。
