Leonardo Inn Hotel Hamburg Airport

It was my first trip after 2 years and 2 months due to the pandemic. A dear friend had invited me for her 50th birthday party in Kiel and that was the opportunity to be in Germany again. The experience was awesome, but something went quite wrong in the end - I had an early flight back home departing from Hamburg, so I decided to sleep in a hotel in the city the nearest from the airport as possible, and among the hotel choices I have picked Leonardo Inn. The location is awesome - max. 10 minutes walking to the airport - which ensures you won't be in trouble with public transport, traffic jams or expensive taxi rides. The staff was polite. But I was given a room (#24) which was one level under the street - the view from the window was of the ground and leaves on it. I decided to deal with it, as it would be for one night only. However, I saw a spider in the bathroom while I was having a shower and, when I was already in bed, I noticed some spider webs close to it. No instructions of how to call the reception and I was reluctant to dress up again and go upstairs to reach them (as I've said, had an early flight and had to sleep early). In the end, beaten by tiredness, slept anyway, letting the receptionist know what I had seen when I checked out. He apologized, but this won't compensate the 79 euro I have spent there. It's not because a hotel is not a 5-star enterprise, that it is not obliged to take good care of the cleaniness of their premises. I wouldn't stay there again.

Very nice hotel except a bit expensive parking fee. Big and good equipped room with larhe bathroom. However the breakfast could be better...

The hotel offers more service that expected for a low cost - free of charge coffee at a coffee machine in the lobby, complementary bottle of water in the room, tea/coffee set in the room, bath with separate shower and bath tube. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't find a lift in the hotel. Guests with a lot of luggage or limited mobility should check for rooms on the ground floor before booking. The parking is also free of charge.

Good location to airport, a quick short walk is perfect after a flight.

Despite advertising buffet breakfast and airport shuttle (and my having paid for breakfast), neither was available. So, at this point, expect to pay €8-10 each way for a taxi and walk a few minutes to a nearby bistro for breakfast food. Coffee snd croissants are available at the hotel, though, and they will reimburse you if you paid for breakfast. Hotel is very clean but the doors are not insulating and sound from the hallways can be annoyingly loud

You advertised and based on your listing I booked this hotel that it turned out had closed permanently more than a year ago. I went to that hotel at great expense and was faced with locked doors, a taxi that had left me there, no new taxi in sight . I was faced with a long walk to a busy street hoping to catch a taxi there; all my luggage to carry, and that at 86 years of age, you might be able to imagine what fatigue that entailed and what anger I feel toward ******* together with the decision never to use ******* again.

The man at the reception was very unpolite

Kleines und einfaches Hotel direkt am Flughafen. Preis-Leistung ist völlig Ok, Zimmer sind groß genug und absolut sauber. Fluglärm hatten wir auch keinen, obwohl unser Zimmer zur Straße hin lag und damit direkt in Richtung Flughafen. Eine gratis Flasche Wasser steht auf dem Zimmer bereit, ebenso gibts in der Lobby Tee und Kaffee für umsonst.

Eenvoudig luchthavenhotel, helaas zonder shuttle , circa 15-20 minuten lopen van de terminal via een ongelukkige route. Bed was goed en gelukkig kunnen de ramen open. Helaas geen lift aanwezig
