Wonderful hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in China. This was our first stay at the Grand Hotel Hangzhou and we will stay there again on our next visit to Hangzhou and I can’t wait for it!

A lovely hotel on the lake, walking distance to the centre of the city. Location was great, I managed to do a day trip to Shanghai. Very nice staff, ready to help with any enquiries. Plentiful Chinese breakfast.

- Location is really good. However my room have no lake view. Lakeview of the hotel are restaurant.
- not sure why they decide to make the shower room and toilet transparent.

Services and cleanliness were very good. Location is just on the edge of the shopping *****, but it is beside the West Lake. Hotel provided a one time complimentary one hour big boat ride around the lake at 0830hr daily with reservations.
Breakfast was oriental and western, menu changed daily.

Overall stay are good. Except that the shower head's pressure is not sufficient. The buffet breakfast is not good enough for the standard that the hotel carry. It is a 5 star rated hotel but with 3 star buffet breakfast standard.

All staff whom we interacted with were all very helpful and kind. They tried their best to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. There was a platter of complimentary welcome fruits, buffet breakfast had a good variety and room was clean.
